eh, I'd probably go. Other than a Lolla I couldn't attend, the Cure hasn't come within 8 hours of me my whole life.
Where are you from?
Kentucky.
Oh, they did play Nashville and Cincinnati in 2004. Unfortunately, I was 14 and hadn't discovered them. But "my whole life" was an exaggeration. Just my whole adult life.
Other than Neil, these HLs would be an easy pass. With a decent undercard I’d check Beyoncē (is that correct?) too, but any regular here knows I’d pay more money to not see Tool.
And yeah, you book those three as your HLers you won’t have much money to spend on the undercard to make it worthwhile.
What do you like?
In terms of artists that could headline? Not much, especially that hasn’t already been there before.
Undercard stuff? I’m usually the guy at parties they won’t let choose music because I’ll play somethin’ unpopular or not “party-like” at all.

This is a mix of hopefuls and predictions. Probably too stacked but whatever. Don't really know EDM so those were mostly fill ins. (I accidentally posted this on another account i didn't know i had?)
John Mayer? Headliner? His tour seems to be doing well
I can’t imagine he’d be super high on the AC/LiveNation list since he was a part of their least attended year. Granted it was billed Dead & Company and no mention of Mayer on the lineup. And yes, it’s totally different styles of music. I just don’t see him as a HL. Pre-HL, sure.

John Mayer is way too big to preheadline
I mean take a look back a page or two fer my current favorite artists list. My knowledge of popular shit is not good. And I’m pretty damn okay with that.

Eh, I wouldn’t really call John Mayer “popular,” at least not in the Travis Scott sense. Maybe 12 years ago. Still, he’d almost 100% headline

I have looong since removed my finger from the pulse of popular music by and large. Even in high school I was always, “You guys, you guys, check out this new band no one has heard of! I found out ‘bout them on some message board (these would have predated Inforoo by years)! Aren’t they cool?!”
