Actual question, would Roo book Phish two years in a row?
Maybe if it was 10 years ago.
But yeah I don't see any reason why they'd do that now.
This. Unless they have a situation similar to 2008 where Widespread Panic replaced The Allman Brothers. At least I think that’s kinda what happened. There were several changes to the bigger names and sets to the lineup that year.

I'd be cool with Phish playing every year, tbh. Don't think it'll happen, but I imagine they'll be back fairly soon if the ticket sales were that good.

With a new album and netflix show coming out early next year, could Kid Cudi be our rap headliner as a 4? I was thinking something like Neil -Tame -Lana -Kid Cudi -Vampire Weekend
Why does VW keep appearing in people’s top 3? Is there any reason to think they’re not still subs? As far as I know, FOTB did fine but wasn’t any bigger than MVoTC. They seem locked into the 4-7 range for next year

Unless Tame is ready to drop the album then I don't know if this would be worth it. Their current show is pretty much the same set/production from the Currents tour with 2 new songs added. Kevin really needs to re-invent their live show, it's great, but it's been largely the same for the past 5 years.
Being in the back at the Which Stage probably made a big difference, but their production at Shaky Knees definitely felt like a big step up. And the lasers are fucking awesome
It really hasn't unless you count lasers as a "substantial upgrade"
I've got news for you.. I do.
But also the giant ring is new.
They’ve only used the “ring” are Coachella and Lolla, right? Other than that it’s literally just a LED wall behind them and some lighting along the bottom of the stage.

I'm not sure, but they are supposedly using it at ACL also.

I think they used it at MSG? Not at Boston Calling though
Tame's new music rollout is so weird. They release two songs that get played to everloving death (on XMU, at least), and then they hit LN talk shows and tour on the strength of those two new songs with very little news about when the next album is coming out. They have a decent amount of hype behind them but it's odd to do essentially an album circuit on two songs and no album.

I think it's pretty obvious the album was meant to be out at some point over the last couple months
Or maybe Kev just wanted some cash while he over-edits this record to the point of mediocrity

i feel like they were doing almost the exact same thing before currents
