I started looking at Spotify monthly listeners because of this discussion and did you guys know Ed Sheeran is #1 in the world? 66 million monthly listeners
According to spotify, Akon is more popular than Muse

I still think Garth Brooks would be an inspired get for Bonnaroo.
Honestly, we've have had WSP more times than we bear to count, Jack Johnson, KOL, and the Lumineers...
I don't really say how having Garth Brooks as a second line afternoon What Stage act is going to burn a hole in their budget.
I thought Garth would be a number one act and nothing else. Or am I thinking of another big country artist. (I really don’t know country music but isn’t he like the biggest)

Lizzo's bigger. But people who like Billie Eilish reeeeally like her in a way that I don't think Lizzo fans do, they strike me as more casual listeners.
The real question is: who's better? Or more to the point, who would you rather see on the lineup?
Awh I tried my best, been trying to be better about that in my mocks. What would you change?
Tyler and Lizzo are both Top 6 for sure. Borderline headliners.
I’ll stay stubborn until I see Lizzo booked anywhere near 6 or higher myself. But Tyler seems pretty perfect on the lineup being 7th, especially if he plays Which late night after Frank.
When We All Fall Asleep first week - 313K album-equivalent units, 170K pure album Cuz I Love You first week - 41K AEU, 24K pure album
None of these are perfect metrics, but honestly I'm struggling to find any metric in which Lizzo bests Billie, other than meme-able lyrics perhaps. Lizzo's lyrics make the rounds of social media more often from what I've seen personally but far more people are listening to Billie. Either way, both are great artists that I enjoy considerably.

The size of the crowd at ACL is not a good enough metric for you?
Paul’s obviously the bigger seller but they’re both legacy acts who are playing (I imagine) the exact same songs.
Maybe it's just a personal feeling, but I feel like there's something special about Paul McCartney on your lineup that isn't there with his other peers. It'd be the same set he played in 2013 but it just feels like a more worthwhile booking on an emotional level.
I'd prefer Waters or Gilmour to another Paul or Elton booking though.

I don't think Facebook likes are very relevant, especially with these two artists.

I agree with you, it's just one of the few things I thought to look up. Instead we can do Insta, where Billie has 41M followers and Lizzo has 5.8M.
Rank Lizzo, Billie Eilish, and Garth Brooks in terms of popularity. Then rank them in terms of prestige.
I don't know any Garth Brooks songs. Otherwise I could've come up with something.
"Friends in Low Places" and "The Dance" are pretty much the only two songs you need to hear. i mean you don't "need" to hear them, but it's all you need to wrap your head around Garth.
