yeah one above Thom but still 4th their day each. So sure we can agree to disagree, but she’s still billed 12th so I can see her being there for Roo.
Not that I want to keep debating for too long (but here I go anyways) she was underbilled for ACL. Like that's pretty much a fact confirmed by the festival. She was booked before her album really started to blow up. Her placement at ACL will not reflect where she'll be on lineups next year.
I guess I just have to wait and see where she’s booked on the lineup if she is booked for Roo that is, which seems very likely.
Is Lizzo playing arenas? If not, clearly Billie is bigger. Billie sold out Capitol One Arena here, I think.
Billie sold out her 2020 tour stop at Capital One Arena, while Lizzo sold out two nights at The Anthem in 2019 and resale was over $200 a ticket. I'd imagine she could sell out Cap One for a 2020 tour date
Had an interesting thought today while driving into work: What would be your best "haven't seen yet" headliner trio be for Roo?
For Me:
Coldplay - Foo Fighters - Drake
All have tons of hits that would be easy to sing along to while under the influence. Yes I've heard, Drake live sucks, but if he actually tried this time I think "Gods Plan" and "Hotline Bling" would be fun in the Pit

Jay Z - Talking Heads - Neil Young would also get me there without seeing the undercard. Unfortunately, she wouldn't headline Roo, but Missy Elliott is definitely on that list of acts I haven't seen.
Though I only say yes to this because we are living in a fantasy land that current mgmt will book Bjork on Friday, Frank Ocean (more popular) Saturday, and Neil Young on Sunday. We have to remember now that Saturday is their pay day for day tickets, and that strategy will not change.

Yea, we skipped roo 08. After that it's been because their shows are too expensive/not at the right time.
ACL was pretty solid luck on that front. i can't remember how much my tickets were for the death magnetic tour, but when they came through Houston last time it was during Roo and really expensive.
