Hi all, thinking about going to our first Bonnaroo...BUUUT...our camping days are over. We'll be hotelling if we go.
I see about 9 chain hotels in Manchester, but they're all "no rooms available". Do any of these rooms ever become available to the general public? Were they ever available? Are they reserved for artists/organizers/volunteers, or what? Can I bribe someone? Bring them good Jersey craft beer or something?
I used to live in Murfreesboro (very populated area with many hotels, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, etc), it's almost exactly 30 minutes from the Bonnaroo grounds, straight shot on the highway (very simple drive). I'd definitely check there if you don't mind driving 30 minutes to & from each day.

Appreciate any hotel tips, thanks!
Hello fellow Jack. As stated above Murfreesboro is the play here. Easy drive to the farm. I'm at the Home2 Hilton this year, but there are plenty of options.
I recommend Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. They are great.
I know Bonnaroo will usually sell hotel packages, too. We did it through Bonnaroo twice. They tke care of the reservations and shuttle. They shuttle pretty much 24/7 every hour.

Is this the one thats the convention center? we stayed in a convention center style hotel in 2015 and it was a game changer. We stayed there that Wednesday night and it was really the best way I've been able to make that trip after a ten hour drive. Given, we camp on site.

I think it is but not positive. If I am not mistaken, it’s next door to a Dicks Sporting Goods if you need any supplies to survive the day.

so it's been a while since i did the shuttle, but i typed up this FAQ years ago:

Tullahoma is also a good option for hotels. Closer than Murfreesboro and there's a handful of options/quick food places and whatnot.
the only issue with tullahoma is they tend to get wise and jack up their prices accordingly. i'm at the ramada in murfreesboro thurs-mon for $300 all in. slightly longer drive than tullahoma but it's all easy interstate.
I did the drive to Murfreesboro three years. It's like 35 minutes or so each way, and there's a bunch of hotels with little markup there.
I stayed at the Super 8 near Exit 78. Nothing special, but was good for the weekend.
Yeah I stayed at that Super 8 in 2015 I think. Very clean and quiet, cold rooms. Nice place.
The only Murfreesboro hotels that get expensive are your major brand 2.5-3 star hotels like the Hampton etc. But there are deals to be had in the 2 star hotels.
