Someone in the Lockn Family and Friends Facebook group made that. He said she just made it based on what he wanted and had no inside information. It's amazing how things can circulate. I have seen this everyhwere today.

Oh yeah, I know it's not real, I was just saying it didn't seem absurd
Have edited the original post so there's no confusion

So weird not having UM on the lineup. I am about positive this will be the first time since Lockn was started that they haven't played in some fashion.
Sunday is awesome for my taste, but I am finding the rest fairly meh. Trey has never really moved the needle for me compared to other jam headliners. TTB is great, but they play the southeast so often. Seen them do multiple Lockn shows, watched them in Asheville last year - playing here again in two weeks.
That's a shame. Some of the undercard collabs are the best yet but as I mentioned in a previous post, lightest year ever at the top. I enjoyed my year at Lockn' and would like to go back some day but Peach will always have priority for me.
They had to know it would be a down year for attendance after going from the lineup last year to this upcoming weekend. Also, Floydfest (another VA fest a month prior to Lockn - about 120 miles southwest of Arrington) did them no favors this year on the lineup they booked. String Cheese/Phil Lesh/Margo Price/Leftover Salmon/Keller/Karl Denson...it was the heaviest jam card they have ever booked. I know a lot of my friends who regularly attend Lockn opted for Floydfest this year.
I'm sure Lockn will spend more next year and book some of the usual acts they missed this year (Widespread/UM/String Cheese).
Lockn’ Live stream is on now on The Relix Channel. Takes an email and zip but free otherwise. Gary Clark Jr is on now. It’s rewindable back to Khruangbin
Backed that ass up and Trey is coming out with Khruangbin <— took a few minutes but at 5 songs in they pulled this off kinda badass after working through the beginning a little. Cool band and nice to see the jam side of them with this collaboration.

I started watching the Khruangbin set at my parents when I went to pick up my son after work. Kept in on for the car ride home. Loved the set and was jamming out. Turned around and my three year old is also jamming out in his car seat (dancing very much like his dad with the head up and down). It was great. Gary Clark set was pretty standard for him. JRAD was rocking out but I fell asleep before the Bob sit in. Did Circles Around the Sun stream? They said they were going to on their Facebook page. I am going to have to find that if so.

Trey with Khruangbin was awesome. The build of it was awesome. One of a kind thing.
The storm was insane. I lost an Ez up but was able to rig it up a bit so hopefully no more storms. Tent was flooded but dried it out and made it happen

Good for you. Looked like a fun time for the crowd, though I heard both Khruangbin and Gary thank the crowd for hanging in there. I hope the rest of your weekend is great. I'll be tuning in as much as I can over the weekend.

It was pretty cool to watch too. I just happened to rewind back to see some of their set and while it was on, they announced that they were doing something they never do which is play with someone else and brought out Trey. I figured he was going to be there for a song or two maybe, but he stayed the rest of the set. And once they got I together, they had some really cool parts that any Khruangbin or Trey Anastasio fan would have enjoyed. I'm not sure about Circles. Khruangbin was the first thing on the stream, and I went to bed after JRAD shut off. They said they were taking a setbreak, but after it didn't come back on, I figured they stopped the stream or something. IDK
Today Bob Weir is out with Old Crow. Fun set so far. PPPP had Corey Wong and Revivalist horns. Looking forward to TAB and TAB w/Trucks
Edit again that this first TAB set is excellent. I love everyone who plays in this band. I saw the Trey Trio last time, and it was great. But I love when he plays septet or octet because of all the groove, Afro-Caribbean, Jazz, jam and all that goes into what they are. Lmao that first time I saw them (of 5 or 6) was Hangout Fest. Second best show I saw at Hangout after Chris Cornell.
