air fryer on the roast setting, gets the outer leaves good and crunchy
Never used the air fryer for that. Actually, my wife gave our air fryer away and got some sort of air fryer thing for the instapot. I don't know, I haven't used it. I just roast in the oven.
That's what I want. The air fryer top that converts the instapot into an air fryer

Our air fryer works but it's broken already.
Ours was too small to effectively feed a family of four. I made fried chicken in it and it took like an hour and a half. The kids were long done before I finished cooking.

I find it best for veggies/sides rather than meat.

Ours isn't huge either. It depends on what were cooking. We could fry between 4-6 pieces of chicken at a time depending on pieces
Last year my mom asked if I wanted an air fryer and I told her no because I don't think I'd use it, so naturally two months later she got me an air fryer. I don't use it.
I got a bread maker a few years ago for Christmas, because my mom remembered I liked home made bread from trips to her parents house in Florida 15-20 years ago.
I was the same and didn't think I'd use the air fryer, I use it all the time.
Anything you'd use in the oven throw it in the air fryer. Bbq chicken wings, taquitos, chicken thighs, nuggets, fries... We even made pork chops and bacon wrapped corn.
It's really amazing, but it took me actually looking into using it.

We use ours every day! It's great for toddler sized mini pizzas lol
I got an ice cream maker for Christmas. My plan is to correct Ben and Jerrys' errors in ice cream design. It will mainly involve removing nuts from various flavors and immediately improving them. Nuts should not be stored in frozen dairy.

Yeah I think so. I think it's something Jordan Peterson came up with. Specifically all beef. I saw a clip from an interview where the interviewer asked him "are you still on your all-beef diet?" And he said "unfortunately, yes."
I tried vegetarian "breakfast sausage" tonight made entirely of plant protein and it was entirely edible. I'm incorporating that into my diet.
i don't love most meat substitutes, but the morningstar sausage patties aren't terrible. we throw them in the air fryer and have them with a tofu scramble for weekend breakfast. we've tried a few brands and those are the ones my husband (meat eater) prefers.

Cauliflower parmesan with fettuccine and a Caesar salad tonight 🍝🧄🥬🥦🥗 (emojis may not look exactly like the food but no pics cuz I already ate and put up the leftovers)
While I'm not going full veg, I'll offer sideline support by doing incorporating meatless meals/days. Today was a honey sriracha tofu stir-fry for lunch and vegetarian chili for dinner. My tofu game needs some serious work but the chili came out well. And now I have two more day's worth of food.
