So do you not like donuts? Amish people? What is the story here? You're really missing out, sir!
Also one year they had an amazing curried chicken salad sandwich on a pretzel bun... I had one bite of it, and I still think about it way too often.
There's a whole Indian stall inside of centeroo that gives out probably the biggest portions at the whole festival and it's not that expensive comparatively.
Discovered them last Roo and it immediately became my new go-to. Imo portion size is paramount at a fest because the food is expensive and you burn a lot of calories throughout the course of the day, and these guys give a great value.
Also cold brew is amazing. My favorite way to caffeinate.
WHY was I so late to the cold brew party? I'm kind of annoyed I just ordered two costco sized cases of k-cups recently.
I don’t know. You can do the long version of cold brew systems and steep it out in about 24 hours. Or you can just buy the high end concentrates like Cool Brew or French Truck out of N.O. or Chameleon out of Austin. Just add them to your favorite milk/milk substitute. Only thing is that Almond Milk tends to get clumpy and coagulated in coffee for some reason. Whole Foods taught me that.

So yall remember where inside Centeroo they are?
Between the Who Cafe and That stage, right on that bend where the forks and knives are on the map.
I went to buy coals, wood chips, and a new glove for my first attempt at ribs. walked out with a new grate for my grill so I can more easily add coals. going all out for my first solo Superbowl. cayenne, chili, b sugar, garlic, salt/pep, keeping it pretty simple on the rub, will finish with famous dave's devil's bbq which is excellent and v spicy so I'll probably drizzle honey at the end

ribs rubbed. sitting like that overnight, ~10 hr probably the goal. looks so fucking good, again having never done this, most satisfying meat seasoning experience for me so far. very excited to cook these bad boys, but they might be really hot lol

Maybe a condescending question, and I don't mean it that way at all, but did you pull the membrane off the bottom of the rack(s)?

lmao no...
though looking at pictures it may have been mostly removed anyway?
not going to fret too much, looks like it's still fine to cook, but something I'll have to be conscious of
Posted already in the Travel thread, but we will be staying in Atlanta for exactly one night in April. Looking for recommendations for the perfect one meal and drinks, even if the drinks are nearby. Going to book our Airbnb near wherever the restaurant is. What do y’all got for me? First place I noticed was BoccaLupo. Reviews?
*it was there! but it was relatively small, the short end of it is v meaty. and only one rack so not a ton of work.
It's not something to worry about. It helps the smoke/flavor etc absorb and overall helps the cook. Practically, it makes the rack more malleable and easier to separate the ribs. Also, it doesn't taste good and it's way easier to remove pre-cooking.

I have a 3 year old and an 8 year old and chips are a constant at my house. They're a reward. They're a treat. They're a "dammit shut up I gotta do a zoom!"
"Chips n shiz" with duck tales is like, Friday night IDGAF around here

I remember a mad guac making snowman at inforoo brunch. Chips n shiz seems aptly accurate.

I remember thinking it was weird TSA cared more about the 12 avocados than the 24 beers.
