instead of cinnamon and sugar or whatever, I season it with garlic powder, cumin, cayenne, and s&p. Top it with salsa instead of syrup. Delicious. My Facebook friends are mad about it.
There's an Epicurious series where three different levels of cook make something and they did one with french toast. The amateur cook (Emily) ate hers with ketchup and the internet went ballistic.

dry - layer of salt, cayenne, garlic powder, pepper, brown sugar, 2nd layer, salt, pepper, brown sugar (heavily pepper in spots that look light on others), wrap 8 hrs
smoke - apple juice/vinegar, salt, pepper, cayenne, honey, glaze everytime I added coals/wood
I probably hovered ~275 for 4 hrs, rested for 15, and they were perfect

Gross meat? I never watched Supersize Me before, but it's on Tastemade. This may be the most disgusting movie/documentary I ever watched. I eat fast food from time to time. I had a spicy chicken sandwich from Chicken Filet today. I bought 2, but I'll eat the other one tomorrow and add lots of spring mix and wickles pickles to make it taste better. My total fast food intake is somewhere between 0-4 meals a month. But this is fucking disgusting.

going low carb again, looking to drop 15 lbs or so.
i know keto isn't sustainable, especially for an ice cream loving motherfucker like myself, and you tend to gain the weight back once you are off of it, but in my experience i lose the weight really fast and put the weight back on very, very slowly, like over a period of years. so i'm cool with that.
but i'm also a much better intuitive eater than i used to be. i do think it's at least possible that i lose weight with keto and keep it off.
i'm also not as heavy as i was last time i did keto. was trying to lose like 50lbs last time.

We just started getting vegetarian Hello Fresh meals delivered. Three a week. Last night was some cheese tortellini with a heaping portion of ricotta and mozzarella on top. Ended up being two servings for me. Got half left over in the fridge. So much ricotta lol. Quite filling.

Apparently they only send out 8 oz portions of ricotta and this recipe called for 4 oz. They sent some email today saying there might be some left over. So. Yeah.
