Yes he said he was about to but then didn't. He also gave VERY clear reasoning as to why he picked Pablo "I figured one of the last two was mafia because there was so much switching"

If “there was a lot of switching so I guessed the person my given name was ok with killing off” is a good reason then clearly reading is the only thing you can do.

iirc one mafia member tends to try to distance themself from mafia members as to survive longer. Also you were okay with voting him but he didn't get voted off

I think the reason everyone thinks I'm distracting is because I spend a crazy amount of time arguing. Instead of pointing out interesting things- I keep battering one idea.

I just woke up and I'm sorta lost. Jortles is faking, or, at least he's wrong about me. Maybe he did guess Potent and that didn't work so he convinced himself I must be Mafia for sure, like LD a couple games ago naming a Town as Mafia. Makes about as much sense as guessing me when he thinks I'm for sure Town. More likely it's a straight up fake.
I dont know what to think about JR's actions, but for now I'm going with that being some kind of shenanigans. I suppose I could still buy Dan being Mafia, but I'm not feeling JR. Weird thing to get in a tizzy about, overall.

I think if he guessed potent he would've said it, especially since he said that if he was told you were town he would've assumed potent was mafia. So I think if he had guessed potent and was told potent was town he would've assumed you were mafia and said that as a hint and not out right.
However this is a very solid argument against the reveal and your teammate should take notes

I will say heavily leaning towards switching to Dan. But I’m gonna wait a little longer before making that official.

see, my thing/hesitation here is that that would be incredibly sloppy. Seeing as Dan is one of the more experienced players in this game, I’d be shocked if he left evidence that lumped all Mafia into one group together. Either he’s mafia, who was trying to associate himself with townies, mafia trying to save other mafia as well, or not mafia at all. I lean towards the first possibility.

I've only played 3 games and in all of them, the reveal was called false. Interestingly enough, as Pablo alluded to, one reveal was true but the inspector lied about a name. I have also yet to see a false reveal as I think it would be extremely hard to pull off, especially by a newish player

Yeah probably with townies. He also mentioned himself that he said he wanted Pablo to get lynched, this is viewed as him trying to distance himself from mafia teammates. So if Pablo is mafia, then he is definitely trying to keep them all separate

Said I was gonna wait but nah this seems solid. Danbob was already on my shortlist to begin with anyway, and now there’s way more information to work with.

I had a theory on JR, it’s obviously wrong, but I think JR getting called out was helpful. He seems to have fallen into a bumbling JR town mode now and add in comments from Danbob, JR’s just a different story.
If Jortles is the N2 whack, then we know Pablo is getting whacked Day 3. Night 3 will be crucial because we won’t really be getting new votes / action until Day 4.

IDK I just don't know why jtr would defend jr so much so as to vote for me even after I defended his absence (his new job and working 2-11 since Thursday).
But I guess it could have been an easy way to vote for me after I had been attacking Pablo and Dan too.
