I think it’s likely that we had a 2-1 Mafia split on Day 1. Danbob voted Pablo, Pablo votes Potent.
Potent voters: JTR, Jortles (Insp.), Pablo (Mafia), ZIG, Carini, Agarr.
My three unknown players where I think the 3rd Mafia is hidden from my previous post are the remaining unknown Potent voters. I’m town but obviously, I would expect that I would be looked at by others because I was one of the Potent voters.
agarrr24 when I do lists, I always put myself as Town. Others do the same as well.

I'm back from meetings. Anything you guys want me to defend?
I do have to say that I am not sure this will be as easy as the last game now that we have 2 mafia. Jaz and Potent are gone. 3 new players are still here once I'm whacked.
Also, I wish we could have had a live look into the Mafia chat when @agarrr pointlessly switched to Potent and saved Pablo. If he isn't mafia, that ended up accidentally costing us big. I'll write up my thoughts on everyone in a second.

Here are my notes on everyone having known about Dan since the game started and Pablo for more than 24 hours now. I need to read through what has happened in day two so far so I will provide an update after that.
Agarrr:
- He switched off Pablo and put the nail in Potent's coffin - Pablo defended Agarrr when I was telling Agarrr that he didn't understand how important that move was - He tripled up on Pablo out of the gate in the first round - Pablo then defended Agarrr for this move as an innocent noob mistake - Agarrr has been super quiet. Part of me thought maybe Dan wanted the noob to be quieter this game. Maybe he didn't like how involved I was last game. I kinda doubt this though. I still think Agarrr probably would have had more fun with this earlier on and would have tried to improve his post count earlier if he was Mafia.
Carini:
- Voted Pablo out the gate, but switched to JTR pretty quickly - Carini and Pablo had a fairly awkward exchange leading to his theory that I read as two people not working together - I personally didn't like that Carini put out that theory because I thought it looked like him trying to make up for being less productive last game. However, Dan hopped on the train of finding it questionable. But Dan would do that even if Carini was Mafia with him - Carini and Pablo also had an awkward exchange when talking about carry-over votes from the last game. I viewed that as not being two mafias talking together - Carini was the hardest on Agarrr for his switch - Carini helped get Dan into this runoff
Kanye:
- Yes, the knowledge I had bolstered my belief in him as Town. Not only did his switch from Jaz to Pablo scream town for other reasons, but it also totally fucked Mafia by putting Pablo into the runoff and saving Jaz who they wanted gone - In the infamous flurry of switches, Kanye was participating in the most awkward, uncoordinated way, including bumping Pablo to 4 at one point when only 3 was needed for the runoff - Kanye crushed it in his Day 2 analysis of calling Pablo and Dan as mafia. He also took my hint about Jaz's whack implicating Dan where it would have been way to easy to dismiss it
JR
- Lots and lots of fluff posts. Coaching new players, Day 1 runoff strategy crap - When Dan said he didn't like Jaz's post. JR was the one who nudged him to move to Jaz by saying "enough to switch your vote." I thought that looked coordinated - I have another note that says "fluff posts all around - so fucking much" - Defended Pablo as Town in one of his breakdowns saying "he would be more active as mafia, if I know him" - When Agarrr asked us who he should vote for, JR mentioned that he has an option to switch to Potent instead of informing him that most people would never switch in that scenario. But I as Town wanted to see if Agarrr would make that move as well for my own notes - He raised suspicion about Potent on an occasion or two, but also lightly defended him when I switched from Kanye to Potent in my move to not allow Dan to save someone - Switched to Pablo for the kill shot that Agarrr ended up ruining. Then he and Pablo got into a pretty strange and defensive squabble after - Dan said that JR is on his radar and now Pablo has voted for JR. Either to distance or because JR has been sketchy and they think they could have a chance at us lynching him
JTR
- Worthless contributions, super low post count... just like when he had a role last game - His first real contribution was to ask why I was defending Kanye so hard - I need to read through his stuff again, there isn't much to work from to be honest... at least Agarrr made the switch
Zig
- TONS of fluff post garbage in the beginning with tallies, messed up tallies, posts where admits that he's fluffing, etc - Voted for Potent instead of Pablo when it mattered most (but I thought Potent was mafia... so idk) - Need to read through all of this Zig / JR stuff again... overall not much great content from Zig this game imo
Currently I feel the best about Kanye and Carini being town, but once you have read my notes above and done another re-read for yourself, you will have just as good a guess as me. JR is the biggest wildcard. JTR I just have a suspicious feeling toward, but it's not backed by anything.
Sorry for a noob question - how common is it for people to call a reveal as false? Is this usual Mafia play? Jortles seems pretty genuine to me, and as others have stated, he’s across as someone whose trying to help town pretty much the entire game. More so than any others, really.
I will say heavily leaning towards switching to Dan. But I’m gonna wait a little longer before making that official.
The people being accused have to say it's fake whether it is or isn't. Not doing so would be conceding.
oh well, I knew I would reveal Day 2 anyways with a correct night 1 guess. Leaving for my meeting now.

Oh and I guess I'll respond to the classic "why did he guess Pablo." This is the only way for Mafia to defend themselves other than cooking up a theory (I have a prediction for what they will try). But I'll give a more thorough answer anyways.
Anyone who has been inspector will know that it is FUCKING difficult to make your final decision on who to guess. I wanted to guess Potent because he was who I was most suspicious of. I felt like if I got it right, I could let everyone know that they just needed to whack Dan in day two, we'd draw a couple more connections and it'd be pretty easy to get the final mafia member on 3 chances.
But then I was wondering if anyone had ever guessed a lynch before. I figured that it wasn't done often or maybe ever for a reason I wasn't thinking of. I didn't want to fail as an inspector in a laughable way, if that would have been laughable (still not sure).
Let me remind you that I always truly thought there was mafia in that final 4 on day 1. I did have a Town read on Kanye. Dan was all about getting rid of Jaz. Plus, there was still more action in the final round - 2 switches. So I was thinking that mafia member was in the final 2.
So I felt like guessing Pablo and getting a negative response from LD would semi confirm that Potent was mafia and I would get the extra information that Pablo was Town.
That is precisely what went through my head. But honestly, it doesn't matter why I chose Pablo, just like it didn't matter why JTR chose Carini last game. It was decent reasoning, but mostly dumb luck. And I know I'd be fucking pissed if I was Mafia, but especially Dan right now because he's been screwed by noob luck twice in a row despite playing a pretty good game so far.

Fuck one more thing. Forgot that Pablo is trying to use LD's rare move from a couple games ago to save himself. Smart - Carini wanted to try this last game, but nobody will buy that shit.
If I would have guessed Potent and it came back as negative, I would not have revealed on Day two unless I was about to be lynched. JR and Kanye have provided me with juuuuust enough cover to where I think it would have been a coin flip on whether or not I was whacked in night 2.
I will say, my bad on the switch on D1 that is causing us grief /extra work in hindsight. Though, I honestly had zero inclination about either person in the runoff and it doesn’t feel like I was alone in that. But yeah, lo siento. I’ll stick with any initial random votes in the future unless given a stronger reason to switch.

I'm not questioning Jaz's integrity in particular. I'm just saying that when there should not be a conflict of interest that people are involved in more ways than one. You wouldn't have a player ref, would you? It's the same thing. Maybe worse.
Also, we already have someone to administer the rules. The ref. I don't think we need some greater authority to veto the ref's rulings in the first place. But if we do, it should be someone who understands but doesn't play. Like the ref, but a second opinion.

I get what you're saying, but would you really want that to aid your victory? When we were in the mix of the JTR reveal last game, I remember really hoping Thor would miss another vote to be auto-lynched, but when I stepped back for a second I felt like it would have put an asterisk on the win anyways.
Maybe we can also talk about how dumb it is that the "commissioner" participates in these games most of the time.
Did Jaz even really do anything lately? I never talked to him about the JR/Tainted incident, and if things got really bad enough - I would have consulted Fawn if needed. That's if the game didn't get blown up and abandoned first.
Had Jortles not made a reveal* post this morning, I was leaning towards naming JR as the lynch in Day 2 for rage quitting. I don't know why Tainted felt the need to chirp in, but I'm under the assumption his post meant more of talking shit rather than trying to reveal anyone's role. And I never understood why JR and Zolah get singled out - accused of collab cheating, when there's been other couples over the years who have played at the same time and never got the same degree of scrutiny.
