Speaking of Deandre Hopkins, it's probably a good time to check up on how he stacks up against the individual I said was the best in the league. These are ESPN's stats so they include all receivers be they WR, TE or RB's
Receptions Thomas - 45 (1st Place) Hopkins -31 (11th Place)
Yards Thomas - 543 (1st Place) Hopkins- 347 (25th Place)
Yards Per Game Thomas - 108.6 (2nd Place) Hopkins- 69.4 (30th Place)
First Downs Thomas - 26 (2nd Place) Hopkins - 18 (14th Place)
Catch Per Target Percentage Thomas - 45 catches on 55 targets for a 81.82% catch ratio Hopkins- 31 catches of 44 targets for a 70.455% catch ratio
I think he’s the career achiever in most categories for active players. The continuing saga came from Thomas being the best for where he is so far. For the people that may still have trouble with that, think Patrick Mahomes. He’s breaking records for tenure, but he’s got a long way to go. Fitzgerald is a measuring stick for anyone. Lattimore will probably dominate him if he draws the assignment though he won’t be able to shut him down to 0 catches for 0 yards like Evans got yesterday.
Browns suck today. They are better than what they are showing, but this game is pretty much an F across the board. Poor performance.
Are they better than they are showing? I mean I guess probably literally, but they really made a mistake by hiring a McDonalds cook to step behind the counter at Ruths Chris. They don't have a shot with Kitchens, I don't think.

I think they are. They're not some juggernaut that was going to come out of Hard Knocks and be a contender like a lot of people thought. But this was bad all the way around - offense, defense and special teams.
Are the 49ers fluking or are they genuinely a good undefeated team?
I don't know. I fucking hate them for all time (Bottom 3), but it's hard to say. Schedule has been favorable so far. Rams are kind of desperate for a win, but then they get a pillow game with Washington. Carolina is hard to say. They should beat Arizona and then have a tough game with Green Bay which is their 3rd consecutive home game there. Next is the Ravens who aren't that great, then the Saints, Falcons Rams and @ Seattle. They could go 2-2 in that span. Overall, they look to be a 10-6 or 11-5 team to me. Does that win the NFC West or get them a bye week? I don't know.
I know they're different teams, etc but the Cardinals have an 8 game win streak on the 9ers. They kinda just play like dogshit against us idk why.
For sure, and that doesn't go without saying. 49ers have mostly been dogs since their mini-run from 2011-2013. You guys were the better team in most of the succeeding years. I think they've had 4 straight losing season with maybe 6 (?) the most wins since. I'm not bearish on the Cardinals mid-term at all. I just don't think they can put up enough points to offset the 49ers.
506 Sports has the Football Maps out for this week's games. We get lots of duds beginning with Giants v. Patriots tonight. On Sunday, our area gets Saints @ Jaguars early and then Dallas @ Jets and San Francisco at the Rams @ 3:00pm. That's the only good game. Sunday Night Football is Pittsburgh @ L.A. Chargers, and Monday Night is Detroit at Green Bay. There's also a Sunday Morning Game on NFL Network between the Panthers and Bucs if anyone is up at 8:30am. 506sports.com/nfl.php?yr=2019&wk=6
In this week's segment of, "How great is Michael Thomas?" - he's now caught 77.5% of passes thrown his way during his entire career. No other WR in history has ever achieved 71%. Larry Fitzgerald is 63.9, Antonio Brown is 65.5%, Julio is 63.7, Deandre is 59.1, OBJ is 62.4 and AJ Green is 58.7. Tyreek Hill comes the closest in terms of active receivers, and he's at 68.8. Wes Welker ended his career at 70.8%. There are a couple of running backs who are charting higher (Leveon Bell at 79% and Alvin Kamara at 79.7%) <-- Reference Saints Super Forum

It's a good stat but "thrown his way" doesn't account for if those passes were good or not. For example, I'm sure the likes of Arizona Cardinals Hall of Fame QBs Ryan Lindley, Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Max Hall, etc weren't throwing Fitzgerald dimes every time.
