Much obliged, and I'd love to since they are my #1 and #2 teams. But there's almost no way for me to pull it off that weekend. I haven't been in the Jacksonville metro since my sister left Macclenny back in the late 1990's. I always loved the whole NE-FL region and have spent a ton of time there and need to get back. The problem is that's the weekend after ACL Fest and 2 weekends before Voodoo Fest which I'm going to splurge on Platinum for again. I'm also going to be in Orlando the weekend before ACL <--- all vacation (ACL, Universal/Harry Potter World, Voodoo). However, if for some reason ACL doesn't inspire me (or enough of the real wants are on Voodoo's lineup), I'm not slamming the door yet. It would be sometime in June. Voodoo releases (usually) first weekend in June, and ACL should be in a couple weeks. So I'll know for sure by June.
Also, I wish it was easier to get there. You either take the 8/9 hour trek in a car. And then for flights, you'd think it would be a hop skip or a jump on a budget airline. But no one flies there from here. I can't even get there from Pensacola or Beaches International which you'd assume would have small jets/planes flying back and forth every hour or two.

What a legit answer. Let me know if the variables end up falling in the Jags favor. Id obviously figure out game tickets for you.
I'm not a fan of having so many prime time games. The 1 and 425 games let you have get togethers with family and friends. The 8 something games, not so much. Everyone just stays in because work in the morning.
Also debating if the @ Washington game is worth a weekend trip. Washington doesn't have hope this year, do they?
I was considering Buffalo or Cincy as well, but neither works well. I can't take the last day of the month off from work, so Buffalo is out. Cincy in mid December, nope.
Games at Foxboro aren't cheap. $100+ nosebleeds, $50 for parking. Seems better to go somewhere else to check out a game.

That's too bad. No better tailgating than at New Era Field. Plus it's all cheap by NFL standards. The downside is that Bills fans can be pretty hostile to visiting fans. Or really welcoming. It's a crapshoot, really...
So it's sounding like Bills-Cowboys on Thanksgiving. That will significantly impact the flow of that holiday here.
Move the turkey and mashed potatoes before someone smashes all the food?
We typically do a taco buffet so I just have to make sure that I've got all my stuff prepped in advance but then I've got to spend the next three plus hours ignoring my guests because the Bills only play well if I am laser-focused on the game. (They need my concentration.)
I finally looked at the schedule, and Saints got kind of rooked out of the gate. We host Houston - admittedly a quality opponent for MNF. Then we go to Los Angeles. Week 3 we travel back to the west coast to play Seattle. Then it’s Sunday primetime hosting the Cowboys. That’s a tough opening month. After that we play Tampa @ Jacksonville @ Bears Cardinals Falcons @ Tampa Carolina @ Atlanta Thanksgiving night Colts MNF @ Titans @ Panthers
We are good, so nobody’s penciling in an easy win against us. But I think our schedule is tough. We’d want to be 2-2 at worst to start the year. And it took 13 wins to take the NFC last year which means no room for error and an 11-1 finish (I don’t see it) to match that. I don’t know. Last i looked we were like 10.5 wins. I wouldn’t bet it either way.

Cardinals game is gonna be a trap game. Cardinals like to play as an elite team one game every year.
It could be, IDK. It probably won't be if we lose to the Bears the week before. But we tend to handle most of our games pretty well when we need to. That's not 100%. But in the Coach Payton era, we've been a lot better at playing more consistent than say the Jim Haslett era where we'd play up to the killer teams and down to the dogs. I don't have much of an opinion on how you guys will do this year, but Vegas says +/- 5 wins. I'd think maybe 6-7 if I had to bet and go with the over?

There’s elite talent there (CJ, DJ, Peterson, Fitz) but it depends how we draft and there’s no way you can project how Kingsbury will do. I expect 5-6 wins and then the year after that is when we go 9-10 wins. The big variable is obviously Murray.
Don't know if anyone else read about this, but apparently Gronk dented this year's Lombardi Trophy, using it to take a bunt during batting practice at Fenway.
