It’s a fact. I caught up on the news today and we have lost 5 straight opening weeks and 7 of the last 8. That sucks and needs to change. Unfortunately for the Tampa area Buccaneers, you play us in weeks 5 and 11. We are most likely undefeated in those weeks all the way back to Charle-mang. Certainly I’m challenging you to 50.00 a game and another 100.00 for who finishes higher in the division despite us playing a 1st place schedule and opening the year against 4 solid playoff teams from last year. Let me guess, you’ll take the 50 a game bet but know better than to pretend the rock under our heels will shelter you from once again finishing at or near the bottom. Deal or deals?
Deal. I think we can get one of the two, but I'm not delusional. The Bucs need a lot and I'll be happy with 6 wins this year. Plus we have like two months of road games in a row, that's going to be a tough stretch.

I really hope the Cards don't take Murray tomorrow. Even though I'm sure he'll be a great QB, Rosen is the answer at QB and we can use that pick to get a Bosa or a Q. Even though neither are as exciting as a QB, it's the smart pick (unless we get a great haul for Rosen ofc).

32nd overall work?
Probably better than what we would get if I'm being honest. Lots of teams low-balling, but still not worth it imo. Would love to see Rosen win and see his full potential in NE but he would probably have to sit for like 3 years. Also, fuck the Pats.
Usually I love some draft. But I’ve been kind of down on it since it went to the 3 day format. This year with the saints having no 1st, 3rd or 4th and the 30th or so pick in the second cost me most of my interest until we pick (#62?). We make lots of 1st round deals but lack of ammo will catch us this year. We signed Jared Cook at TE, so I think we are good there. And having the best wide receiver of all times based on his career so far, I think we could use some competition for the 3/4/5 spots. We could always use a 7th or 8th OL or maybe grab a solid DT or S in the second to work on their game. I don’t think the saints have any major needs at all at this point, but you can always get better.

I didn’t like the draft broadcast being split between two networks last year. I was watching the analysts discuss the Vander Esch pick on one network and saw him being interviewed by the other in the background and had to flip over to that station.

Jarvis Landry sets the record every season for most catches for a player with his tenure, and every 2 years after, that record is broken by Thomas. I think he and OBJ were tied after 2 seasons. Guess who Thomas broke the Season 3 record against? Now he's 33 catches above Landry for most ever by a wide receiver who has played 3 years (321 vs. 288). Landry had 400 after 4 seasons, so Thomas will need 79 to surpass that and then it's 481 catches after 5 seasons. Landry will likely go on top this year for 6 seasons surpassing DeAndre Hopkins who has 528 (2 more than Antonio Brown when he passed him). Marvin Harrison has the record through seasons 7-8-9 and then Jerry Rice has it through 12, Larry Fitz 13-14-15. When you're in a conversation with Hopkins, Landry, Brown, Fitzgerald, Harrison and Rice, you're at the top.
And FWIW, 2018:
Michael Thomas - 125 receptions on an 85.0% catch ratio and 1,405 yards along with 9 TD's.

Someone is reporting the Cardinals informed Bosa he’s the pick, some are saying they’re hearing it’s Q, not much more hype on Murray than we already have.
When was the last time the #1 was as up in the air as this on the day of the draft?

Adam Thielen - 113 Catches
Davante Adams - 111 Catches
JuJu Smith-Schuster- 111 Catches
No doubt he's good. But once Brees is gone I don't think he will but up the same numbers.

Since it matters in context, don't forget how many years he did all this with quarterbacks like David Carr and Matt Schaub throwing to him.

you mean Mr. 4700 and 29 (that one time...). David was straight trash though. I hope that Michael Thomas never has to endure anything like that, not even sure he could.
Where does Thomas stack up in other stats historically? (Yards, YPC, YAc, TD's, etc)
Not being facetious. I honestly don't know. I've given him zero consideration as a GOAT receiver until this page.
He’s elite as far as target/completions and obviously first in receptions. As you will note, spent highlit part of a sentence. He’s not the greatest of all time and has a long way to go to achieve that if he’s lucky enough to have a career that goes that far out.
