Yeah they were talking about it at half. Just coin toss as far as performance. But to me that seems like bad coaching. With some of our losses it just seems like we clearly top down think certain games are more important than others and prepare as such. Where people like Bill and Payton go right for the throat of everyone.
It's pretty simple. When they're able to protect Deshaun they're good. But no idea there are some games where they're not able to do that at all.
This week seemingly has a shit ton of players scoring very high individual fantasy point totals. I thought my Barkley 32.8 was good, but Elliott has 33. I’m down 8.64 with Brees still to go. So I’m hopefully going to make it to one of my championships.
So the Saints get the #2 seed and a bye if they win out and either:
1. Packers lose one game (@vikings on MNF or @lions) and 49ers win out (Rams and @seahawks) OR 2. Packers win out and 49ers and Seahawks (Cards and 49ers) both lose at least one game
Saints get the #1 seed and a bye if they win out and:
All the Top 4 contenders in the NFC (Saints, Seahawks, 49ers and Packers) may have to play Week 17 to establish position. I don't think there have been that many (if any) recent seasons where the 1/2/3/5 (and possibly 4) could go down to Week #17 results in the NFC. Playing later in the day could be beneficial for anyone hoping to and getting lucky enough to sandbag.
We definitely need to win tonight which changes nothing and leaves us at the #3 seed because we can't win a 3 way tie/head-to-head-to-head against Seattle and Green Bay due to the worst conference record. We do beat Seattle head-to-head for the 1 due to the victory over them earlier in the season (would lose it to the 49ers due to the loss and to the Packers based on Conference record).
Here's the problem. 2 teams will get bye weeks and 2 teams (whoever wins the East out of Dallas or Philly and one of the other divisional winners) with host either Seattle, San Francisco or Minnesota. Everyone wants that bye week because the win 2 and in the Super Bowl is a much easier path than Win 3 get in. Plus those will all be and already are double-digit winning teams that can go in and win.

plus, if dallas wins next week and clinches the east, they can rest their starters week 17 while all of those teams play meaningful games.
That's right. The Eagles would still need to win Week #17 if they beat the Cowboys because they'd lose the divisional record tiebreaker if they both ended up at 8-8. I'm pretty sure these are the NFC East scenarios:
Eagles:
1) Win both games and win the division 2) Beat Dallas and lose to the Giants week #17 and Dallas wins in week #17, the Eagles would be eliminated. 3) Beat Dallas and both teams lose Week #17, Eagles win the division 8-8 vs. 7-9
Cowboys:
1) Defeat the Eagles and win the division giving them a chance to rest starters in Week #17
If next week's game ends in a tie, Cowboys win week #17 and they're in. If the Cowboys lose Week #17 and the Eagles defeat the Giants, the Eagles would win.
It’s so frustrating because I feel like the team should be a lot better. OBJ is not being utilized right, Baker shows occasional signs of greatness but is regressing at the same time, and Freddie is busy eating pancakes when he should be playcalling. Chubb is the reason we have any wins at all.
Freddie bombs right after the browns announce they’re gonna keep him. At this point I’ll never see a winning browns team.
They said during one game this weekend that the Browns are the only franchise to not post a winning record 2010-2019 as the best they can hope for is .500 at this point.

Still gotta play the ravens 7-9 incoming
I saw an update that they are sticking with Kitchens unless there is something catastrophic at the end of the season. Playing the Ravens may actually give you what you want in that regard as the Ravens have the potential to put a massive beating on them especially since Harbaugh as a competent playcaller unlike Kitchens. The Bengals give you another chance in that closing the season out with a three game losing streak including losses to two teams that end with losing records could do that. Unfortunately, you have to rely on Cincinnati to not suck for an entire game which is not a guarantee by any means.

Maybe you can find some solace in the fact that you at least don't suck as much as usual. This week was an exception. When you get smashed by the Cardinals in 2019, it does count for something. Last year I think y'all finished up 7-8-1. You want to get better each season when you're coming up from the bottom, but mediocrity isn't completely bad in this instance since there are 12 teams with worse records that the Browns.

I 100% agree with you and I’m not one of those browns fans going completely insane, wanting to trade Baker OBJ etc. I just can’t shake the feeling that we were just a couple avoidable self inflicted wounds away from a wildcard slot this season.
I don’t mind waiting out and seeing a rookie head coach get better, but if he’s lost the locker room he’s got to go and keeping him will only hurt the team more.
No doubt. Like I said to you earlier this weekend, I feel like the Browns are on the up and up overall. It looks pretty likely that you guys will play a 3rd place schedule so 2020 should be something like
and then either the Chargers, Broncos or Raiders depending on who finishes 3rd. Based on 2019 results so far, playing the AFC South and NFC East and a 3rd place schedule isn't the hardest path to competing for the playoffs.
