I live in Hendersonville, about 20 min north of downtown Nashville. Lived in Mufreesboro for a year last year at MTSU, and boy was I glad to move back lol.
So if I'm reading my google map right, if coming from Nashville on 24E, hop off around Beechgrove on 2/41 looks like 10 miles or so to Manchester and a left on 55...sound right?
C'mon u Tennessee Roo'ers help a guy out! Give a displaced Ole Boy a little home field advantage.

Im from Mcminnville (30 min away) , but I have lived about 5 miles from the farm for 5 years. There is nothing better than being able to hear Bonnaroo Music from my house. Except of course being there!
+ since we live so close we can go home to shower too!
Born in Nashville, went to high school in Dickson, and now me and Squirrel (she is a long island transplant) live in the 'boro. We will be bringing a pair of Nashville native 'roo virgins with us to 'roo this year.
Though I live in NJ, I visit Nashville at least twice a year. All of my family lives in or around Hendersonville so I'm pretty familiar with the area and I love it down there. My cousin also lives in Murfressboro so I've been down that way a few times too. Can't wait to make it back down to see the family and then to roo!!!

I know too many people from MacTown (as they call it).
Bump for my LOCALS. I moved here 6 years ago, this will be my 4th bonnaroo. anyone looking to have fun beforehand should know good and well that the parking lot of the wal-mart in manchester turns into a minature festival every year for the few days preceding the fest.
East Tennesee State University, Johnson City! I'm from Cookeville which is about an hour from Bonnaroo. But my home is in the mountains. Ain't no place I'd rather be!! ......
LaVergne, just south of Nashvegas here. My g/f is from the Manchester/Tullahoma etc area, so she will be doing the driving on the back roads to get us in.
Thanks for the info reddred!! My best friend G and I are headin in from Greeneville, which is southwest of the Tri-Cities, we're 'roo virgins poppin the cherry in 2009!! Can't wait!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOOHOO!! What a ride!!!!"
BTW anybody wanna get together and caravan down? Or maybe even meet up on the way down? We're bout 4 hours away, leaving in the wee hours of thursday morning. Thought it would be great to have some locals camping together. And if you're a 'roo vet that would be even better!!

Born and raised in Kingsport, lived in Johnson City for two years, now living in Bristol. In other words, I'm from the tri-cities. NE Tennessee, represent!
Know how ya feel, Bro. I'm from Oak Ridge and my wife's from Los Alamos so if we hug too tight we can start a fission reaction.
Oak Ridge is one of the few cities in the country that has a radiation report in the city paper. I grew up there too and people don't believe me when I tell them that.
