I'm guessing headliners are Avetts and maybe like Alabama Shakes or Raconteurs?
Maybe right style of headliner but I don't think the Avetts would headline this and Forecastle the same year and what are you basing Alabama Shakes being anywhere on?
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
Quote by Ashley Capps in this one says they are shooting for 10,000 attendees per day for first year. What is Forecastle's capacity 20,000-30,000 maybe? Also sounds like this is more local, former-Moontower Fest organizer's deal. Maybe just contracted with AC for booking purposes but don't get the feeling AC are providing towards the budget themselves necessarily?

Presale sold out. $140 price tier is available so I might just do the layaway plan now. What is there to do in Lexington? I'm probably going to have to stay the Thursday night since it is such a trek.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Has anyone here been to this festival? My wife and I have tickets to see Jason Isbell, The Highwomen, Chris Stapleton, and Mike Campbell & the Dirty Knobs in Chicago the following weekend, but this one might be easier logistically to satisfy some of that itch.
I went last year on a single day ticket. Pretty nice festival. two bigger stage separated by a small parking lot where the food/vendors are located (festival goer parking was in a field out front of the gate). A third smaller stage off to the side. Crowd was moderate size and it was easy to move back and forth between the stages. Slightly older crowd, people would actually let you put a blanket down to hold you space (as long as you were towards the back). Food was above average and some nice Bourbon options in a small club house off of the center parking lot. I'll probably go back this year. Will need to look at the schedule to decide if 1 day or 2.
