Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Holy shit, you are seriously putting which shows each person is going to be at. That’s a lot of work.
It also locks everybody in to what sets they will be attending. No more fooling around. I'll be counting inforoosters at every set and whomever was deceitful on their schedule will be banned from inforoo for life.
Thursday Grand Old Opry- The Nude Party - Rock the Cashbah SD - Then back to camp for some fun
Friday Cherry Glazerr - Catfish and the Bottlemen - Some AJR - Avett Bros (PIT) - Gojira - Childish Gambino - Phish PIT OR LEFT SIDE CLOSE - Griz Superjam
Saturday Record Company - Maren Morris - Juice WRLD - Kacey Musgraves - Jim James (PIT) - The National - The Lonely Island (PIT) - JRAD
Sunday Two Feet - Princess - Brandi Carlile (PIT) - WALK THE MOON - Lumineers - Illenium - Phish

So it looks like The Comet Is Coming will be the most inforoo attended show so far. I mean there's basically no reason for anyone who regularly posts here to miss them.

Made another significant update. The inforoo recommended schedule is up to 28 shows. Most of them are full sets.
I'm not really considering splits sets and what not, but I am making 3 exceptions. Seeing 1 hour of Opry + ATW. TLI or Clairo + 1 hour of JRAD. And Deafheaven or Beach House + Phish friday.

There's an ~80% chance I make it this year; should I participate in this now or wait until I'm a little more certain in my summer plans?
80% pretty much means you're going unless something unforeseen happens. Either adjust that percentage or participate.
But also participate even if you aren't going so I can include it in the inforoo recommended schedule.
The unforseen thing in question would be the specific scheduling for my assistantship over the summer... I don't think it would be an issue, but they're taking a while in getting back to me. 80% might be optimistic, but suffice it to say I 100% want to go.
Regardless, here's all the sets I'd 100% be at (will leave conflicts out entirely for now and come back later) Thursday: Peach Pit, Caroline Rose, Grand Old Opry, RBCF, The Comet is Coming, Saba Friday: Monsieur Periné, Parquet Courts, Anoushka Shankar, Childish Gambino, Phish, BROCKHAMPTON, Girl Talk Saturday: Little Simz, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Kacey Musgraves, The National, The Lonely Island Sunday: Princess, Phish

Anyone remember what secret sets were last year. I remember there being Jade Bird, Post Animal, War and Treaty, and Cage the Elephant. What else was there. I’m trying to think who I think will do a surprise set this year.

Is the plan to do a big meetup at this set?
I want to organize a few meetups that make the most sense. Comet seems to be at the top of that list.

I'll probably be camped out in front of the tent by the time they start with RBCF and All Them Witches playing the same stage beforehand.
I plan on making this set but don't know how deep into the crowd I'll be, might want to be able to run back to camp for a surprise set. I will be in my cokepants cuz they're famous

Just did another update. It's hard for me to determine a consensus on how Inforoo believes one should handle Friday night Phish vs. Beach House and Deafheaven. Also Courtney and Gojira are now tied.
And finally... I apparently need to listen to Cherry Glazerr.
Not a huge Phish fan but I do want to see them, but Beach House and Deafheaven are my priorities on Friday. Does it make any sense to try to run over and catch a few songs between those two sets or wait until Sunday?
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Since you want to minimize conflicts, I'll just go with my primary shows at any given time. Unfortunately there are several shows that will not be appearing on my schedule (that I may or may not be able to go to).

?
I don't think they've said what they're doing yet as far as sets as to whether they have any specific themes or structures in mind. So it's pretty impossible to guess how the Friday set will factor in and figure in with the Sunday closing show.

I was thinking the same thing too. I think I'm just going to wait until Sunday and have a few minutes before Deafheaven to get a beer, bathroom, etc. but who knows.

I'm considering this only because it's pretty much a guarantee that there will only be 70 people at Deafheaven anyways. Running up at the last moment will still get you a great spot.

I would imagine that they scheduled them as more or less the only Phish opposition (until NGHTMRE) so as to ensure the crowd isn't vacant - but you're probably right. I doubt it'll be a big crowd.
