Miami Beach POP is coming to Florida on November 8th-10th. The festival comes from promoters Paul Peck and Steve Sybesma, both original co-founders of Okeechobee Fest. It will be located on the beach between Fifth and Tenth Streets.
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol
EDC Orlando is that same weekend. While music styles will be different, EDCO pulls in quite a bit of people. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Lineup for this would have to be pretty shitty for me not to go. With III Points and this, it’s not possible for South Florida to have two nice things, right?

So, who are we thinking for headliners? I know Sybesma’s wish list included Björk, Frank Ocean, Paul Simon, and Pitbull. I can only see them getting Pitbull at this point.

No idea, they could go in any number of directions. I’d bet my ass that Rosalia will be on it. She still hasn’t done a show down here.

As long as they throw me a bone or two every day, I don’t mind that. But I think you’re right. This smells like it has Camila Cabello and Cardi B all over it.
Definitely has the Paul Peck footprint of being all over the place and the “once in the lifetime experiences.” I really want to see the Raconteurs so I’d buy a day pass and drive the 3 and a half hours if I could have them paired with a few of Chance, Windows 98, Ben Folds, Chic, The Roots, Monsieur Prine. It’s not a great lineup but it’s atleast semi interesting and better then Hangout. Hopefully it does well and grows.
If this were anywhere else I wouldn't bother, but this fits pretty well with what I expext a beach trip to miamo would feel like. I wonder if theyll add to it.

If I had to travel for this it’s a pass, but for a local fest in its first year, it’s worth a couple drives out from the suburbs for me. This should do okay in this market.

200 give it or take is a solid price too. Id consider a trip out.
