I love that people think I'm so good as mafia that I either could have planned this with Potent as a long game OR I faked inspector to cover up Potent fucking up. While also further narrowing down who the town could vote off. They then FUCKING whacked the person I said was innocent. One of your last posts was agreeing with me that we shouldn't trust Potent's post.
Like WTF? The other option for me faking was that Taint was the real inspector. Taint, who's game plan was to dick around and somehow voted for Thor and brought attention to the other 2 mafia in round 1. So EVEN if you believed I faked, Taint pointed at the actual mafia.
Well, I guessed Jaz in night 3 because I was pretty certain Potent's post was a misdirect. But then I regretted it, you or Agrrrr made more sense for a misdirect needing 3 rounds.
I blame myself and those goddamn chickens. I didn't have time to explain why the Potent post was almost certainly staged. I wrote a post about it on my phone but it wasn't clear. So that's my fault.
Anyway, I narrowed it down to you when you downplayed what I had said about Potent earlier in the game. You claimed I said ignore him, when I said numerous times that he shouldn't live to the end of the game. At the time, I thought I'd get more info on if he was guilty or not. I'd do the same thing over again since I knew we had until round 4 at least. My info pointed to him possibly being innocent, so the smart move was to look elsewhere that round.

Yeah, I didn't really have much to go on. Good reason why mafia voting mafia is worth the risk.
I knew something was really odd and I figured mafia had something to do with it but maddog's move was the traditional one that would be suspicious. I felt he was innocent, as I told Pablo at the time. So I chose to clear that up because it would just be a question mark later. And town usually wastes rounds eliminating unknowns like that.
I didn't risk another round because I had no clue if you guys where on to me or not. At first I thought that was why you came up with the scheme but that didn't last long. Either way, I knew the town would have a hard time believing me and it would just be even more of a shitshow.

Why'd you guys keep me alive? I was very close to voting for Kanye. The thing that pushed me over the edge was Potent and Jortles tagging each other in regards to things. It was nothing huge but potent barely tagged anyone else in this game - made it look like distancing. Obvs I was reading too much into it but it seemed like a tell.

It was a close call, but (speaking for myself, not Kanye) I thought it was more likely that Jortles would vote for you. The key to D5 to me, if you are mafia, seems to be keeping the people who you best think won't even put your name in their mouths. As long as Jortles voted for you, it didn't matter what you did. And the same is said for you - as long as you voted for Jortles, didn't matter what Jortles did.

It wasn't that Thor didn't want to play. He took his usual MO, play like you are a townie. I specifically said before switching to him that I didn't want to do that, since I'm known for distancing, but it is what I'd do if I was a townie. I then switched, and I was camping at the time and was already like 3 gigs over my data plan (which has now been upgraded big time). I was shocked to find out over the weekend that nobody else really even contemplated a switch, I figured the switch would make me suspicious enough that somebody else would switch to Dan.
