Bored at work so I decided to whip up a quick mock. I'm assuming that most of my undercard is way off, literally just pulled names from other 2019 GV fests and 2020 fests with lineups already announced that historically share an act or two. Should be fun to see how wrong I was with this. Hopefully the lineup is out tomorrow
So pretty positive ptm will be here they always seem to hit hangout every other year. I wanna know the chances for YYY
idk but they are one of my deciding factors now between staying local for hangout or making Shaky also would like of monsters and men for hangout with ptm.
It would not take a whole lot of past performers to get me to Hangout in 2020. Foos or RHCP, Portugal the Man, Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Black Crowes or Black Keys, OCMS, Moon Taxi, Revivalists, Flaming Lips, Delta Rae, Big Freedia, any form of Warren Haynes, Drive By Truckers, MMJ, UMPH, geez so many good bands over the years. So many to choose from. Even if these alums made up only 1/4 of the lineup I'd be there.
2021 Hoodstock Songwriters Festival Perdido Key May, JJ Grey September in the Caverns, Eric Clapton at Gwinnett County Gas South Arena, Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival November, next up TTB in Chattanooga.

Last year this time we at least knew a few names like 1975. Sorta shocked nothing has come out sept the rumor of a shared headliner with Boston calling.
Tag Your bay for a chance to win some lit Mountain Dew Soda, a Lego Castle, Pop Pop Snotz Mega Pack, colored pencils and subscriptions to the Disney Channel and Nick Jr.

Daddy I've been trying i just can't catch a break theres too much in this world that i can't seem to shake. But i remember your words lord they bring me to chills. Keep your nose on the grind stone and out of the pills.

So, are we just doing lyrics of artists that won’t be at the festival now?

Keep in mind that a man's just as good as his word It takes twice as long to build bridges you've burned And there's hurt you can cause time alone cannot heal Keep your nose on the grindstone and out of the pills
I wonder if that means there won't be much overlap between Hangout and Buku considering they are both part of Goldenvoice and WCP is allegedly booking both in some capacity. That would be fine with me. But would both lineups come out within a week of each other? Due to the proximity (less than 3 hours), you probably want the buzz to die down rather than having people picking one over the other. IDK
^^ Not a wide margin and subjective. It's not great nor am I trying to infer that it is. Considering Sand Jam is probably 1/3 the size of Hangout, I'd still see 311, Weezer and The Struts if I was there.
2019 Hangout Top 6 (by day) - Travis Scott, Vampire Weekend, Khalid, Kygo, Lumineers, Cardi B <-- At least equally as bad.
2018 Hangout Top 6 (by day) - The Killers, Zedd, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kendrick, Odesza <-- Chainsmokers even drag Kendrick down a little though he doesn't control how shitty their lineups are
I think you're wrong as either of these two years may be the worst mid-major, multi-genre festival Top 6's overall even if some of the names like Kendrick or maybe even The Killers or Odesza don't actually suck.
