A friend's uncle killed himself the day after the trump assassination attempt because he was convinced trump would now win easily. He had already cut off his republican family, and figured it was over. We need people like him to survive.
Sad to hear that your friend's uncle gave up so quickly.
I was pretty convinced we were screwed that night and the next day. Not that anyone who's a regular in this thread doesn't know that. I'd be lying if I said having Trump related anxiety didn't lead to suicidal ideation. I been there. I honestly don't like being depressed and dealing with mental shit all the time. It's exhausting living in the darkness. I understand why people would give up, but I don't wanna do that. And if anyone else here is in the same boat - let's talk it out friend. I don't want you in the darkness either.
My personal pick would be Kelly out of those left in the running. What do y'all think?
Tim Walz seems perfect.
Shapiro isn't popular in here for good and fair reasons, but he wins elections and he knows how to use political power - something democrats have generally been bad at for generations.

No bad options but Kelly would be third on my list, which I'm prioritizing primarily on "who will help win this election the most." Great resume/personal background obviously, but he strikes me as the least effective communicator of the three, Arizona's not that crucial of a swing state compared to the midwest, and having to defend that senate seat an extra time in 2026 troubles me a bit given how close those races have been and the reality that a President's party frequently performs worse in the midterm following their first election (Biden's dems being an outlier).
My personal preference and I could certainly argue could help the most with the campaign in general is Walz. And again, if Kelly's the lowest on my list, that means we've got good options.
All three have pros and cons. I don't think picking one in particular over the others will have drastic consequences in Kamala's electability. None of them seem like couch or dolphin fuckers.

I bet if he admitted to putting his dick against the high pressure jets in his swimming pool that dudes everywhere would be like “what a weirdo.. like who even does that?”

I bet if he admitted to thrusting his tiny dick through the throat of a Saddam Hussein cardboard standee he found beneath his stepmom's bed in 1998 then later "spilled" cream of celery soup on its mustache to explain why it's wet and white that dudes everywhere would be like “what a weirdo.. like who even does that?”
on a side note is Pepe the frog still considered a hate symbol or what bc sometimes I see it and idek anymore. especially on twitch with people who arnt even political like Kai Cenat
This is a very good documentary. Spoiler I guess: it ends with the ADL telling the creator of Pepe that they will not be removing the image from their list of hate symbols.
