They want Trump to win. Why the fuck does he get the defense and benefit of the doubt he so obviously does not deserve??
How does "he said it happened and talked about it but there no actual proof" work as a fact check? Especially when you seem to not have actually done any work checking that fact???
Times are tough and expenses are high for everyone including news media. A Harris presidency means plummeting ratings for news media and ever-growing death rattles, especially for an organization like The Washington Post. They know their goose is cooked if Trump loses.

I doubt that many people are swayed by a fact check itself, but this shit just lets Trump say in a debate “that’s not true, even the liberal Washington post said so” which is the real problem.
Oh capitalism. I love that it allows corporate media to skew the news so they can help elect a fascist leader and help finalize the destruction of democracy for ratings. ($$$$$$ bills)

My favorite is the fact-check *of an actual video clip of Trump speaking.* Like, sure, he may have *said* it, but if you don't clarify that he later said something different, you're lying...which, of course, also ignores the fact that NONE OF THE BULLSHIT THAT COMES OUT OF TRUMP'S MOUTH MEANS ANYTHING HALF THE TIME.
Political media in this country is cooked. Trump broke them with his firehose of nonsense, and half the CEOs running these outlets or their ownership groups are Republican donors who I am absolutely sure are putting pressure on the news rooms to be "balanced" even when that means putting their fingers on one side of the scale to make up for a reality that is absolutely unbalanced.

I guess the good news is nobody reads the Washinton Post except liberals that hate themselves and enjoy being mad all the time. Memaw and pepaw are already getting their disinfo from Fox News and News Nation
I’m also starting to see stories that Gwen Walz didn’t use IVF as if that’s some sort of gotcha.
Tim never said they did use IVF, just that the IVF issue was personal because of their own issues with fertility treatments.
These meaningless semantic arguments remind me of the absolute worst tendencies of Democrats over the last 20 years and it’s nice to see the other side doing it for once. I think it’s a sign of just how little actual substance they have to criticize Harris/Walz with at the moment.

He has explicitly said he used IVF. Per NYTimes: "In April, the Tim Walz for Governor campaign office mailed out a fund-raising letter in an envelope that read: 'My wife and I used I.V.F. to start a family.'" Even without that I absolutely thought he'd done IVF from the way he's spoken about it, though he does often say "treatments like IVF."
What he did was IUI. I don't think this is some big gotcha or anything but I do actually wish he were clearer about that; my wife and I have been through a couple of IUI treatments (without success) and I've discovered that a lot of people are unfamiliar with it (which is likely part of why Walz refers to IVF instead); would love if he were raising awareness, IUI is much cheaper than IVF, and it's still a path that can end in IVF, so it's all relevant to the discussion. Knowing there are cheaper options might offer some hope to people who discount IVF out of hand because of cost.
Very similar to what Nixon did in 1968 when he sabotaged the peace talks in Vietnam that would have helped LBJ and by extension Hubert Humphrey's campaign.

And Reagan/Iran/Carter in 1980
Starting to feel that impending doom again. Americans are so easily manipulated.
It is absolutely mind-boggling that no negative consequences will come from this.
While obviously terrible, worth noting that Trump did a variation on this for months with Putin/Gershkovitch, and then Biden still got a deal done, making Trump look very stupid. And Putin/Biden almost certainly have more bad blood than even Bibi/Biden.
The funniest thing thats gonna happen is Joe is gonna get it done on the eve of the debate and 45 will cancel cause he is a bitch.
Would absolutely love this.
Meanwhile, in today's campaign event, DonOLD sounds totally absent-minded and with ZERO energy. Just rambling like a zombie. But of course CNN then states that "Trump stayed on message during this speech, blah blah blah..." Just covering for him, giving him all the leeway in the world cuz the want this race to be so close.

His last few events have been like this. He really doesn't sound like he wants to be there at all, even when he goes off script to go into his usual airing of grievances.
It would be great if the polling data didnt show he was gonna get whipped and its just 2016 in reverse. What would he do if he clearly lost by 100 electoral votes. ( thats what I wish would happen so theres zero leeway on the legal side )

Biden won by 74. I don’t know if those additional 26 electoral votes would somehow cow someone who generally has no connection reality.

Is it possible that, when trying to start a family, they tried IVF and it didn't succeed so they kept trying and did multiple different methods?
When my sister and brother-in-law were trying to conceive there were various methods discussed and attempted. You can use IVF to start a family even if the other methods end up being successful.
It's just more of the GOP morons trying to "catch" him in a lie like with the service record bullshit. "Ahhh but you said you ate a whole sleeve of Oreo cookies that night when our video evidence shows you only had 8 individual cookies. Explain that, sir!"

Calm down dude
No. I want this fucker to suffer til his last breath while in a jail cell watching reruns of CSI Cyber on an infinite loop.
