Georgia is so beyond fucked, and they will whine when the votes aren't counted by 10pm
Pretty sure it will get blocked in court. But yes all part of the GOP plan to keep the election from being certified by December 16 so it gets punted to the GOP controlled House. Doubtful it will work though.
I am outnumbered in Missouri. We are likely outnumbered in NC, NV AZ and GA, which Harris will need one of because of the Nebraska bullshit
Dems aren’t losing those 4. Maybe take a break from politics then. Polls continue to trend heavily towards Walz / Harris. Robinson is gonna ensure NC goes blue.

You really think NC will still go Republican despite their gubernatorial nominee being a bona fide black white supremacist freak who acts puritanical out of some skewed sense of Catholic guilt?
I hope they don't. It'll be that much harder to take the state and its electorate seriously otherwise.

I think a lot of traditional conservatives/religious types that aren't necessarily full blown red hat wearing MAGAs will vote for trump while leaving the governors spot blank or reluctantly vote for the Dem Gov. Their rationale will be "well at least we'll have a republican in the white house to balance out our liberal governor"
I've seen it happen multiple times in Kansas where the Democrat Gov won (Laura Kelly and Kathleen Sebelius), but Republican senators/President won by double digits.

Correctamundo, and they are dumb as hell even if they'd beg to differ.

I don't take anyone in America seriously.
Roy Cooper ran about 6 points ahead of Biden in 2020, NC is a state that will split their governor and presidential votes. Not hard to imagine that happening again, but on the plus side Kamala's evidently running the best ground game there since Obama '08 (when he won the state), while Trump is outsourcing that to Elon. It'll be close. nymag.com/intelligencer/article/will-the-mark-robinson-debacle-tip-north-carolina-to-harris.html
I just got my ballot in the mail earlier this afternoon. It’s nice living in a state that makes it super easy to vote…and shocking concept MN typically leads the country in turnout election after election.
This stunt they’re trying to pull in Nebraska has me way more hot and bothered
Yeah that's bad and it doesn't feel like there is any way to prevent any of this
It's not all sky's falling guys. Check out the latest on this:
A Nebraska Republican state lawmaker said Monday that he remains opposed to switching how the state allocates its electoral votes, effectively blocking a bid by President Donald Trump and his allies to change the system in a bid for an extra electoral vote this fall. Trump allies have pushed for a special legislative session intended for the Republican-controlled legislature to change Nebraska to a winner-take-all system instead of awarding electoral votes by congressional district.
"After deep consideration, it is clear to me that right now, 43 days from Election Day, is not the moment to make this change," state Sen. Mike McDonnell wrote in a letter obtained by NBC News. Nebraska GOP state Sen. Loren Lippincott, who sponsored the bill to move the state to a winner-take-all system, indicated Monday that McDonnell's position means a special session to move the legislation is not expected this fall."
Again if you’re worried about Nebraska changing how they allocate their EC votes before the election, you’re getting worked up over nothing. Even Nebraskans would revolt over that decision and would turn things purple fast. It’d be a bloodbath. They’d gain that one vote but lose their Senator and at least NE-2 Bacon (he’s probably cooked anyway).
I’m also pretty sure Maine has said if Nebraska gets funny with their EC, they could counter and guarantee ME-2 goes blue by doing the same. Plus I’ve mentioned previously ME-2 could easily flip blue anyway.

Maine couldn’t change their EV allocation in time for it to go into effect this election, which is why Rs waited until this week to make the push.

Something along those lines may happen in Ohio. Republicans have been winning everything at the state level for a while, except they haven't been able to beat Sen. Sherrod Brown. Scumbag car dealer Bernie Moreno has a chance, but I've heard a fair number of people saying they'll vote for Trump and Brown. Both sides are spending incredible amounts of money, and Trump will undoubtedly carry the state for a third time. Some moderate Republicans find Moreno unsavory and like Brown because he has been consistent and supportive of blue collar workers. Moreno hasn't said he'd buy slaves like Robinson did, but Brown is undeniably more affable and even has a goofy new commercial where he sort of makes fun of himself.
