That's maybe the only time Trump has said anything close to insightful about US foreign policy. Not that that justifies it at all. I'm just impressed he finally got something right.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. It's similar to his attempt at this when he was saying in an interview about how we (united states) also kill people/are not so innocent. He's not wrong, though in that instance he was deflecting for some other kind of bullshit that he and his administration were trying to get past. In this case, if it wasn't for the media or defense of himself that's actually a pretty insightful thing for him to say to the Russians.
"They cannot stand the fact they are not in power and that Trump has a different approach to governing, not only domestically but on foreign policy as well,"
Different approach to governing. Is THAT what this is? Really.
This is the kind of bullshit that's going to cost the Dems the election again. Who the fuck do they think they are winning over with this? Only a former CAP dumbass would think this is wise.
BTW, all her arguments are highly debatable. Any actual journalist should be able to point out some pretty simple reasons for the divide, although that might be asking too much of MSNBC. I'd argue bringing up sexism would explain some hardcore opposition but there are basic ideological differences at play. To ignore that is extremely dishonest. Not to mention plenty of polling data over the Summer showing women being the majority of Bernie's supporters.
Bernie has the most diverse coalition. I forget who has the whitest and richest.

Yep. He's not wrong about our meddling. Too bad for him the other thing he said was treason.
"In recent months, the administration has lost John R. Bolton, the national security adviser; Fiona Hill, the top Europe official on the National Security Council staff; and Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence, all of whom sympathized with Ukraine in its conflict with Russia."
I feel like it shouldn't be too hard to tie everything together, he's been at best an unintentional asset.
There are a lot of people coming up with very disingenuous reasons for why they refuse to support the first serious Jewish candidate for President.
It's really hard to believe people haven't abandoned their candidate months before the primary. Maybe having a billionaire heiress come on national TV and call them all sexists will make them forgot their material interests. There's absolutely no way to feel alienated by getting shit on by someone whose class interests are directly tied to massive energy companies and Wall St.
Nor is it bad for feminism for it to be cynically weaponized by the rich and powerful.
Lots of news and reports keep coming out and it's hard to keep up with it.
Deutsche bank says they have two tax returns of Trump, Giuliani pulls out of an event that Putin was going to be at, NRA is both found to be a Russian asset as well as trying their own quid pro quo with Trump by supporting his fight against impeachment if he would make some moves against gun control.
They're in a panic.
Even if they can't impeach him (as in not the process but the actual exit of office) - remember that this unintended scramble might be more useful than the last 2 years of bullshit. Limiting his ability to cause any legislation and restricting him to a executive order president will speak volumes later, where those actions will at least be able to be reversed (though the damage will still stand).

6:30 in the Bernie video is how to answer the healthcare middle class tax question. Transparency is refreshing to people. Its not like Warren has effectively dodged GOP criticism by refusing to answer the question.

Cnn with some nice whitewashing for your Sunday.
Meanwhile "the squad" were treated like shit by the other Dems for pushing hard at holding POTUS accountable. AOC has called for impeachment nonstop but no...it's these other women who see Serve credit for changing history lol
The critical question for the working class is to clearly define the social and class forces involved, and to elaborate its own, independent attitude.
This is a conflict between two reactionary factions of the ruling class. On the one side is the Trump administration, a vicious enemy of the working class. In his three years in office, Trump has sharply escalated the bipartisan program of social counterrevolution at home and militarism abroad. The Trump administration has constructed concentration camps and detained tens of thousands of immigrants, denied asylum rights to refugees, cultivated far-right and fascistic forces, elevated the military in domestic affairs, rejected congressional oversight, and attacked socialism as the greatest threat to the future of the country.
It is not on the basis of any democratic issue that the Democrats have opposed Trump, however. Rather, they speak for powerful sections of the military and intelligence apparatus that have lost confidence in the ability of the Trump administration to carry out the foreign policy agenda of the ruling class.
The scandal over the Ukraine call has been instigated by the intelligence agencies. It was a CIA agent in the White House who prepared the report that is the basis of the inquiry. It was the decision by a group of Democrats drawn from the military and intelligence agencies that led Pelosi and Schiff, both with longstanding ties to these same agencies, to shift from their previous opposition to impeachment.
The Democrats have made clear that they intend the impeachment inquiry to be exclusively focused on Ukraine and Trump’s undermining of US “national security”—that is, the basic strategic imperatives of American foreign policy. For this reason, the inquiry will be carried out by the House Intelligence Committee and its chairman, Schiff.
