"The latest issue has come in West’s home state, where Chicago’s WTTW reported that he was 1,300 signatures short of the necessary 2,500 needed to appear on the Illinois ballot. A hearing officer determined that only 1,200 signatures submitted were valid after the 46th Ward Democratic committee member, Sean Tenner, was inspired to take a closer look at the rapper’s petition. WTTW reported that the petition submitted by his campaign with the help of GOP officials in Wisconsin is also being challenged.
Last week, NJ.com reported that West’s campaign withdrew his petition hours before a scheduled hearing to determine his application’s validity after an elections lawyer questioned over 700 signatures his team submitted. West submitted 1,327 signatures to the New Jersey Division of Elections ahead of the July 27 deadline. Two days later, Florham Park–based elections attorney Scott Salmon says he found hundreds of suspicious signatures with issues including no last name, no municipality listed, people who were not registered to vote or didn’t live in New Jersey."
They're really going with "Kamala Harris is extreme far left." as their knock on her. Wow.
Everyone but them are marxists and communists and far left anarchists. They feel like it's a winning strategy. They tried that in Louisiana with the most conservative Democratic governor there possibly could be. Fortunately people here ignored the bullshit and voted to re-elect our governor. Most of their pull is based on emotional reactions from people because they only care about power and not governance.

Yeah, it's just amazing the extent to which they are able to benefit from obvious bullshit. Druid's bff, Marsha Blackburn, went so far as to say Harris is the most far left VP the Dems have ever nominated.
A point Schmidt just made is that Harris is the first ever person on a Democratic ticket from west of the Rockies. That's maybe not as significant as being the first black/asian woman on a ticket, but I guess I never realized that. Shit, Gary Hart should have been the president in 1984, but times were different and lying and sleeping around cost him that opportunity. What I did realize is that Harris is the first person on a major ticket that I was older than :help:

You all love that Black Pill. I would advise if you want to take the black pill, then stop caring about US Politics. Will cause you nothing but pain, misery, and wasted time/energy.
Do you actually have anything to say that isn't obvious? Fucking dumbfuck.
There are actually good signs right now. Markey is up 15 points on Joe Kennedy. Kennedy’s old seat is going to go to someone way further left than he was. The most left places in the country pushing further left has to be the way forward. At the national level, it’s gonna be Ls, but it’s not black pill level right now.
SFA isn't blackpilled. He just gives a shit. That's literally the opposite of what nihilism is.
There's a chasm of space between "just giving up, nothing matters" and "I like Kamala Harris and think it would be good if she were the president one day".

Where did you see Markey up 15 on Kennedy? I've actually seen Kennedy up in most polls.
Massachusetts usually gets hard for anyone in the Kennedy clan. And there's way more Kennedy signs and ads than Markey.
One of the main reasons I no longer take the Greens seriously is they have a shit understanding of how to gain power and rairly even make a notable effort outside of presidental races.
This is my frustration with the libertarian party as well. Progressives have started to find a way to get into office, so I don’t know why they keep messing with the D establishment and break off on their own. Maybe this is the logical next step over the next decade.
VP pick might matter this year. Biden's campaign has raised 26 million in the 24 hours since the Harris announcement. I don't think he gets that big of a number if the pick was Susan Rice or Gretchen Whitmer.

Dinesh is the worst. One year my dad wanted some of his family members to read the guys book (even though he had never read it). I told my mom I wouldn't read it at all (before knowing who the author was) especially because he didn't read it but she said "he feels like he already knows what's in it".
ps. If any of y'all happen to live in a red/swing state and plan on writing in Bernie, PM me if you're open to POTUS ballot swapping. I'll write in Sanders on my CO ballot in exchange for voting Biden on your (red/swing state) ballot. We'll subvert the electoral college, have our cake and eat it too. Serious inquiries only.
I'll also be willing to vote 3rd party in exchange.
