I've finally made it to the 6th and final episode of the Q documentary. It's all nuts, but it's getting insane now. I cannot imagine what I would do if I had to continue living in a Trump-led America. I almost forgot how bad it was last year.
is it worth watching if I already paid a lot of attention to the Q stuff?
Yes. I've been listening to QAnon Anonymous since it started and have done a deep dive when I found out a few people i grew up with had joined the cult. I thought it was a really good documentary.
Van Jones reminded me that one of the biggest heroes of this whole event is the SEVENTEEN YEAR OLD young woman who filmed the cops the whole time even after George Floyd had died. Her name is Darnella Frazier. I would've never had the guts to do that and I would've been too afraid to speak out and be the witness that she was. George Floyd might've just been another mostly unknown man killed by police. I really hope that this starts a new wave of police accountability. Time will tell.
My fear, and my general lack of posting anything whatsoever on social media anymore that is remotely political, comes from all the trauma I experienced from doing it in the past (especially in 2012). Being the only left-leaning member of basically my entire family (both sides), anything I would post would be attacked by close family members to the point where I lost a lot of relationships with them. I just stopped being public about my opinions and values almost altogether. I will still like a lot of posts, but I don't post things anymore. And whenever I see BLM shirts, stickers, buttons, accessories (saw some amazing stuff that I wanted to buy when in Atlanta a few weeks ago) I just feel this deep guilt for not having the courage to wear or display any of it. I'm just so conflict-averse now.
For all those people out there who don't have my privilege and can't just quietly stay in the background and avoid conflicts, I'm sorry.
You live in Texas. They would burn your house down.
We had a Biden-Harris sign in the yard and someone took it within hours. I was so pissed. I was like "I hate these people, and what, they're not good enough for you??" Lol..
Theyre either going to call a party thats gonna happen a full on riot or theyll not even lift a finger to help somebody in need and say ''you wanted to defund us, welcome to reality''.
Before the verdict came in I switched over to Newsmax ( on directv its like 5 channels away from msnbc, luckily foxnews is buried ) to see if they were even covering it and all they were talking about was complying with law enforcement and this wouldnt be happening. Ummm bullshit, cops will say youre not complying if they cant make you fall down to the ground in one kick to the ankle.

You won't learn anything new about Q stuff really but you will get to see a lot of original footage of the 8chan guys... which does open up a lot of territory. But if you listen to QAA even the central narrative of Fred vs the Watkins is old ground
I think they maybe get too carried away with the interpersonal 8chan drama and that detracts from a deeper study of the Q phenomenon and where it came from/ what it tells us about Ametican society. But it's still worth a watch if your interested in conspiracy/internet culture/lunatics.

Today was a brief respite in the battle for justice in my city. Lots of work and healing to do. The hour in between announcement and verdict being read was surreal.
edit: i hope Darnella Frazier in particular can find peace, bearing witness is incredibly traumatic.
