Is it just me or did liquid death like... come out of nowhere all of a sudden this festival season? I got one at a restaurant back in July and never heard of it and then Lollapalooza happened and now almost every fest has liquid death. I get it they're trying to cut down on single use plastic but the whole thing just feels... weird

It's been around for a couple years but has definitely blown up recently. They've raised a bunch of venture capital money and I believe they have a deal with Livenation. It is so dumb.
Their sparkling water is atrocious.

Paying for water at clubs (while shitty) makes sense since a large majority of the crowd won't be drinking alcohol and thus won't be spending money at the bar.

Liquid Death's marketing is fun, it tastes fine and is better for the environment. The Jags looked into them and ended up declining to do a deal because we would have made less on it than we do with normal plastic bottles. I'm positive that deal isn't anything for iii Points to get overjoyed about financially. Get back to the no free water complaints.
