I have family in Miami where I can stay for free, plus lots of friends so I think we're going to get a big group together and make this happen. Should be a lot of fun!
I like Amon Tobins ambient stuff but it looks like he’s playing his Two Fingers stuff which I had never heard of until now and wow what a difference. This would obviously be more exciting in a live setting, it’s pretty heavy.

I do feel like there is a bit of a disconnect between the 4 top names and everything below them. I really like Wu-Tang, but if they are your third name, don't you toss fans of Wu-Tang another bone or two like RTJ / Danny Brown / JPEGMAFIA / Shabazz Palaces / Gibbs & Madlib? 2 of those at least?
I'm also uncertain about how much The Strokes do for people that love this undercard. And I'm doubtful that anyone that lives closer to Atlanta than Miami that is a big Strokes fan will choose this fest over Shaky Knees. iii Points has built a nice lane for itself and for some reason the headliners have veered from that lane the last two years... other than Robyn which makes a ton of sense and is great.
Having said all that, I'm getting very excited thinking about some possible runs before doing any research which Ill need to do a lot of.
Would particularly love if it went Robyn on mind melt into Caribou on Mainframe one night.

The headliners do the numbers to justify the undercard.
Strokes, Robyn, Wu, Disclosure is still in the same lane as past headliners with the exception of 2019.
2016 - LCD, Thievery Corp, M83 2017 - Gorillaz, The xx, Jaar

This is my favorite name on the lineup. I've been listening to his Two Fingers stuff for YEARS and never had a chance to hear it live. It's definitely heavy.
Thanks. I booked an airbnb in Wynwood 10 minute walk south of the venue. Probably shouldn't leave work but I'll be there Wednesday - Monday so have time to do other stuff as well. Any specific must sees or eats in the area? First time in Miami.
The Strokes seem a lot more expensive in comparison with previous headliners. Actually the whole topline seems more expensive than ever, even though it's just 2 days anymore?

Nothing they book will probably ever cost more than that boring-ass SZA show last year.

The Strokes and Robyn
I’m definitely surprised to learn that. SZA certainly had the currency bump, but Robyn? She’s a damn great artist, but is she really asking for legacy money?

Depends on what is is that you like to do for fun, and how far you’re willing to travel within the county/adjacent counties for it.

she was an ACL headliner so i imagine she costs a fair amount
Really nice lineup, Julie! No-brainer for me at $99 and with family/friends in Fort Lauderdale, but we already had a trip planned. Hope to one day make it!
