Heads up! I didn't want to whine at brunch this morning cause it's supposed to be fun (it was, obviously), and I don't know y'all that well, but there's a thief in Tent Only. Somebody made off with my cooler at about 5:45 am. First time in 8 trips I've had anything go missing, not counting a bottle of Crown a buddy left out next to my car.
I thought I heard it slosh and took a peek out of the tent, and saw it was missing. Found it unattended 20 min later though, a few campsites down, one row behind the big white van that is definitely not a tent. I asked two guys nearby if they saw anyone bring it over and their reply was, "we have our own, you can take it." Yeah, that sounded suspicious. But I got it back and it looked like nothing was even missing. So just be aware, and look out for your neighbors, please!
Yeah, just a bit, and pretty atypical, fortunately. Kinda funny since I got it back with no material harm done, but we all hate feeling like we have to look over our shoulder or be suspicious of people. Always a few bad apples here, I guess. Hopefully no one else has a similar experience.
