Nobody said anything yet. Pepe asked a question to Cdev yesterday about it, after that we contacted him to tell him the idea.
Also no, it's not the same. The eligible acts will only be artists who have performed at Coachella, for the Roo draft it was just okay if they performed between this and 3 years ago?

Yeah, I assumed that was the biggest push for doing the next Infinity Draft a couple of months early. I'm sure that this will be an equal waste of our collective time and energy. Sorry to disappoint those getting amped for ID3 but it'll happen soon enough.

I was getting psyched for Infinity 3 (as in that's what I've been prepping an Excel draft board for for the past couple weeks). I guess this just gives me more time to prep for that I suppose! If there was a choice between doing Coachella draft and Infinity draft, I'm on team Infinity first, fwiw.
I'm interested in this new Coachella draft for sure though... just don't really understand how it's at all different from the Bonnaroo draft we just did tbh. Is it that we can only draft bands that have played Coachella before?
Gonna be honest, kinda buns we are doing essentially the same draft before infinity. I’ve been preparing for infinity pretty heavily and sucks to hear I’ll have to wait more.

We thought it'd be cool to host a Coachella draft XL (because of 20 years) around the time of Coachella to pass the time by. The Infinity Draft can still happen by the end of June like previous editions.
Are we drafting artists or sets? If someone played multiple years will they be eligible for each year they played?

just gonna throw it out there that we should honestly never do a “sets” draft. that shit would take wayyyyyyy too much research to form an opinion on all the lineups, and the posters would all be so shitty.

I understand the timing argument. My thing is it’s essentially two of the same draft in a row, and I sat out to prepare for infinity.
