Also some advice to all in school still - Get the damn bachelors!! I stoped after my associates because I had the job I thought I wanted, now years later even with tons of experience, lots of places won't look at me because I don't have the degree
Is it okay if my major is bowling management?
I'm not so sure it is a good idea. When I went bowling in December my group of 10 was 1/3 of the entire crowd there. This was a Saturday night, prime time. Also the drinks weren't overpriced. I don't think bowling alleys make a lot of money based on my sample size of 1 night. (I actually have bowled a ton in my life and am pretty good at it but have only gone that 1 time in the past 5 years at least)
What does everybody here do for jobs? We've been drafting for years and I know virtually nothing about a whole bunch of you.
Well I’m about to start med school in a month after a couple years out of school, which I’m excited (/mad nervous) about. So I’ll be accruing hella debt for 4 years, but it will hopefully pay off.

Related: If you're still deciding, go to school for what's interesting instead of what you think you can make money doing. In my experience, employers are mostly looking to see that you completed your degree, not what it's in. (Unless it a specialized job, obviously.)
Yes! For example one job I didn't get was for a photographer with 1 of the local sports teams to me. It said bachelors required. They disqualified me without looking at a single pic I took.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
It can be incredibly stressful but at the same time it's about the best job possible for making a ton of cash while still in school with no degree or experience.
Wow are you saying bowling management isn't a serious major?
My freshman roomate was a turf/grass management major but it was a 2 year program in the school of agriculture. I did major in sports management but there wasn't anything more specific available back then, maybe it has evolved?

For me it was the best possible way to quickly find work while looking for my so called "real" work and keeping my now ex wife off my back about being unemployed
I work at two restaurants. One I’m working in a kitchen at a brewery. That’s the one I love. I also am serving at an Outback a couple days a week. I have a son who doesn’t live with me but his mom and I are great coparents so I see him regularly. I’m also an aspiring comic and finalizing my first tour dates. One day I’ll also have my own food truck.
