I need to make a few changes for Thunderdome next year.
Change the w/r flex spots to ones with TEs. Having Ertz and Waller means I got one dead weight spot.
Six team playoff instead of eight.
14 team cap, if not 12.
Someone remind me this for next year.
Reducing to two flex spots and adding a TE spot will probably be able to make it fine for 16 people again. I enjoyed this year with all these pretty odd lineups, and am looking forward to the playoffs

Random question/advice. I have Kamara and Michael Thomas in a league where the championship is weeks 16 and 17. Should I be assuming the Saints will rest them those weeks because they're pretty much set for the playoffs?

I assume sit em week 17, but perhaps esteban can answer that better than I can
Also, I hope you're not playing for money with a week 17 championship

My recommendation is to wait and see what happens. The Saints historically rest players as far in advance as possible when it is possible. The year we won the Super Bowl, we were trying to compete for a perfect season. Once we lost to the Cowboys in that 14th game, we took 2 weeks off (lost both games to finish 13-3) plus the bye week to get ready for the divisional round. We did something similar last year once we clinched the #1 seed.
If we are playing for seed (Saints can only be the 1, 2 or 3), we will likely compete until things are settled. If for some reason we can wrap up the #1, I'm 99% sure we would rest everyone. Same holds true if we ended up clinching #2 without being able to get to 1 (say 49ers beat us and we lose again next week or something like that). This would likely also hold true if we got to a point we could only be the #3.
So the hope for anyone who has Saints skill players on their fantasy team would be to see the NFC remain competitive as long as possible. I don't think we could clinch the #1 until Week #16 (possibly Week #15 if everyone else in the hunt lost which isn't going to happen).
The one sticky issue is what to do about Michael Thomas. Would Coach Payton want him trying to chase the all time record, and then sit him if he got it or if it was clear he couldn't reach it? Who knows? The Saints are not adverse to chasing records when they are in reach. Through 12 games, Thomas has 110 receptions. The all time record is 143 receptions in a year by Marvin Harrison. 33/4 = 8.25 catches a game. He's currently averaging 9.17 a game. But then as a team, do you risk losing Thomas for the playoffs to allow him to chase a record? It would be one thing if we had a stable of great WR's. We don't. He's pretty much it at WR. I don't have the answer on this.

They changed the playoffs to be 4 teams, round one is weeks 14 & 15, and championship is 16 & 17. You add up your two-week score for determine the winner of each round. I don't like that week 17 counts but it's a $20 league with high school friends so I'm not gonna make a fuss about it.

Makes a lot of sense, thanks! I hope Michael Thomas crushes that record for my sake lol
I picked up Perriman in Sang's league and the guy went off. No Evans + Godwin got hurt + Jameis throws a ton. Great play there. I lost Evans, Ridley, and Chark in the last week or two and still went big this week.
I got Perriman in my $20 league as well, though had him on the bench while Edelman did nothing for me.

thats me. It’s been a rock fight for the title, not looking great for me as it stands
If I played anyone else this week I would have lost. Both our teams sucked.
Ya I put up the most embarrassing championship game performance Ive ever seen haha. Oh well, still second place. I feel for whoever was Morty Town, easily the best team
