I don't think there's any denying Todd is coming across suspicious but there's something too easy about this. The simplest explanation seems to be mafia are giving up on him.

Voting for fellow mafia isn't necessarily done with the intention of killing off your teammates. It's to hide and hope townies pick wrong. Then, later, mafia might have to just except things aren't going there way and cut their losses. Who knows. Either way, the point to my speculation was more that if Todd is actually mafia it seems like he's being hung out to dry. Just something strangely easy about all this.

Forgetfulness is the reason I didn't mention you there. There also may be 1 or 2 others I'm missing also. You are right, this does seem to convenient.

Todd genuinely seems, very much like me, like he doesn't really know what's going on in this game and is just going through the motions. So I was going to vote for Agar. But then Todd said that he read through old game threads to get a read on Dan. Why would someone who is clearly disengaged from the game take the time to read through old game threads? I know I'm pretty disengaged and I sure as hell have not read through any other games. Doesn't seem feasible without coaching from others. I think there's a good chance that Todd was told to say that by somebody else. He just doesn't seem into this game enough to go out and do that on his own.

Well then. Here we go..
Todd was my given name. It might have been nice if he wasn't because in my opinion it's pretty clear that he is Mafia in this game. He's playing timidly and keeping his cards close to the vest.
On the plus side, Todd being Mafia will hopefully surprise no one and you guys will feel like you can trust me when I tell you that I am the Inspector. I hope that it is clear that I have been hinting at Todd for some time.
Kanye was my Night 1 guess. He is also Mafia.
Kanye is tricky because he plays in a way that would frustrate me regardless of role. I think I've only played with him when he was Town, and I can say with confidence that he's capable of annoying me even as Town. However, he is a bit less talkative in this game and his thoughts stood out to me as not making a ton of sense. The "Mafia must be happy with me being lynched" was about as close as we get to "I am Town" without outright saying it. I also saw the early Todd vote on Kanye as a reason to guess Kanye. Day 1 is a decent opportunity for Mafia to subtly distance and throw off the Inspector's Night 1 guess. For all they know, I have a 2/3 chance of having one of their names (Todd or Kanye, as opposed to the third) and so if one votes for the other they have a good probability that I might not guess the other based on that, if I'm taking the vote at face value. I might often guess the survivor of the final runoff, which would have been Dan, because this worked very well for the Inspector the last time I was Mafia, iirc.
Again, i hope that it is apparent to everyone that I've hinted at this before now.
I'm more interested in Jortles voters than Dan voters right now.
It was always my intention to reveal on Day 2 once I got confirmation on Kanye. I think it's more valuable to get this information out there to Town than it would be to press my luck surviving Night 2 and clearing someone or getting fortunate enough to confirm the third Mafia member. I think that the collective brainpower of Town will be able to sort everything out and win this game, but you obviously might have to do that without me in the coming Day rounds, and I chose this timing of my reveal so that we had a robust (theoretically. It's been a very quiet game) amount of pre-reveal information and also see how Mafia tries to spin this post-reveal. I have some thoughts on who might be third, but they're just thoughts and frankly I'm not particularly confident in any one person, so I don't want to color the discussion on that front too much myself.
Anyway, I'm here for awhile to talk but I am very tired and just got home from work, so forgive me if I go to sleep in an hour or two.

Nah. I just didn't want to yet because my opinion might hold weight that it shouldn't because I am Inspector. What I mean is, even though I am Inspector, I haven't had the opportunity to make a second guess, so you're all operating with the same information I have. Your opinion is as good as mine.

Well, Kanye being mafia too does partially explain how weird this round felt. Just felt like things were a little easy with Todd practically broadcasting his role.

I'm seriously about to pass out. I'm not going to officially lock my vote, because I'd like to see thoughts from everyone before the Day ends and offer a few more of my own before I likely get whacked, but obviously I won't be moving off of Todd.

Imo it makes no difference so go for it if you want because we know what is going to happen tonight and tomorrow already. You will get some people saying to wait till after mafia whacks someone again so they can't twist what townies say
