To the new players. After reading up on the rules I recommend skimming a game or two - they really only take like 20 minutes to read and it’ll give you a sense of how things work and what to look for.

This is very obvious to a lot of people, but just to make sure it all lands for you, my actual name is Jake and I currently work for the Jacksonville Jaguars in addition to liking the good place a lot.

yeah. Imagine you are inspector. You get whacked before you revealed. So then you go back and like a post where a townie casted suspicion on your known mafia name as a hint from the grave.
Because there are several new players in the group, we'll run the same setup as always: 3 mafia, 7 town, 1 inspector. Inspector will have the name of one mafia member.
I do want to experiment with new roles at some point or another, but not this time.
