Why do I even bother getting my hopes up for festivals this year? lol Even adding Kendrick to that top line redeems the whole thing. And maybe I'm just getting old but besides, like, Whitney and Jimmy Eat World, they seem to be really interested in like the worst kind of guitar-based acts
I actually thought this might have been better than 2019 but I double checked and my opinion is basically the same: like two headliners I’m interested in seeing, some big rap names I’d like to see, exactly one indie act per day that I like. So I guess the one good thing I can say about it is that it isn’t much worse than that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love Lollapalooza because I know they're always looking out for me when they book these lineups. Year after year they manage to book lineups I have 0 interest in spending money on.

one thing thats especially funny about this lineup is the perry's acts are decently old. they got stuff like Cash Cash in there, there's no way Gen Z cares about Take Me Home
11/19: Caribou 11/22: Ranger Trucco 11/29: Armand Van Helden* 1/16: L'Impératrice 1/30: Jamie xx 2/1: DJ Seinfeld 2/7: Mild Minds* 3/1: Father John Misty* 3/19: Confidence Man 3/23: DARKSIDE 5/8: Rüfüs Du Sol

Ha I actually like this lineup! As an alt rock kid (sigh, grown up) I could have a lot of fun at this fest. Foo Fighters, Miley, Limp Bizkit, Modest Mouse, Band of Horses, Jimmy Eat World, Angels & Airwaves, All Time Low, The Front Bottoms, Young the Giant. Throw those names on conflict free and thats a fun weekend to me.
Also dont laugh at me listing Limp. Definitely not a fan but no denying that would be a energetic, nostalgia filled set.
