They’re not gonna go back to 3 days again, are they?
Probably never.
They will when ticket sales keep dropping. It didnt really “sell out” this year. Theyre shooting themselves in the foot by diluting their line up. And nobody finds value in a 4 day pass now when a 3 day was a ridiculous bargain at ~$300
I'd kill for someone like Pearl Jam or The Cure again, but it's probably not happening. Here is something realistic:
Red Hot Chili Peppers • Kendrick Lamar • Swedish House Mafia • Billie Eilish
Cardi B • Tyler, The Creator • The 1975 • Disclosure
Why wouldnt Chance play.
I feel meh about the possibility. That new album is not good. Sure, the 1st Chicago show sold out so he added another one, but the rest of the tour is not selling well. I get he is the hometown kid, but he just played recently (2017). If they want to move tickets, he doesn’t seem like the best guy to do that right now. If they want him to play again, he cannot be the #1.

Drake vs The 1975 Guns N Roses vs HAIM Lana Del Rey vs Tyler, The Creator Mumford and Sons vs Skrillex
Drake and GnR would be a solid 1-2 punch. However, I think Axl and the band will be in the studio throughout next year. I honestly don’t see HAIM being headliner worthy, especially with that matchup.

Easily. They need 8 names, makes it a no brainer. The united center show will sell out in 2 minutes and they cant add a show. Its right on the curoff for notable names to even be in chicago before the line up announcement.0

Think Lana/Martin Garrix/Cage/Lumineers make sense as headliners. Think it would be cool seeing BROCKHAMPTON back again after releasing 2 more albums. Charli and Gwen would be fun too

Pins suck the way I use the site. It's not the same for other people who use tapatalk or who just visit threads with new info. But directly coming to the site mobile or desktop and you have to wade through threads that don't have any new info that are just there. I preferred it when the recent activity bumped a thread to the top and that was it. But that got downvoted so eh.

Thanks for all the replies lol I just thought it was odd because of how big Lolla and ACL are comparatively to Hangout and Firefly. The seasonal thing makes sense, I just don't think I've ever seen this thread pinned. The Lolla fans aren't as active on here and idk if part of it is that this thread is buried half the time.
