If I am arriving on foot (via greyhound) on wednesday night do i get shuffled in with the cars ( i saw on the bonnaroo boards that they do let people in on wed night--unofficially) ? if so, can i then pack up and move to a better spot (assuming wed. nighters get put in BFE) early Thurs morning ?
Yeah, as a couple of us can attest to, DEFINITELY don't count on tent only being open on Wednesday. While you might be able to pull it off, like Aly said, it officially opens on Thursday morning and they're fairly strict with that.

If you want a CHANCE at getting into Tent Only on weds, you'd better be AT THE GATE when they open it. They let the first bit of backpackers into TO on weds, but they closed the gates before long. It was a nice mountie who let us in, we'd already walked all the way from the Bushy Branch entrance and were pretty damn tired at that point so he was nice.
Edit: This has been mentioned a few times, but if you do end up in BFE they won't let you out until theyre damn well ready to. I set up my tent in tent only but then went to a secret location and then to Meg'n'Boz's place in BFE.. by the time I left there, they wouldn't let me out. They ended up letting a horde of us out ~7-8am.

i think we're just going to rent a car...easier that way. so final question here, what time does one want to get in line and what exit is best? or is it just a regular crap shoot ?
