Zach kinda had a history of going 0 to 100 pretty quickly. In one of the survivor threads didnt he kinda say he hope Taylor Hawkins was burning in hell for something that probably didn't really constitue burning in hell?

Also just LOL at the acknowledgement that juries can be wrong, but that the government should also have the power to castrate people that have been found guilty

Correct, that was the start of the "I hope [x] burns in hell" bit.

Zach feels very strongly about some matters. I don't particularly agree with all of their stances in this thread. But, there's reasons Z feels that way. I can't imagine what it's like to see a loved one get hurt like that and have no justice resulting from it after. I just hope Z takes the time to let things cool off and will eventually come back.

it’s up to them if they come back. like judge mandated castration, the balls are in their court.
We can rehab a greater percentage of criminals than we can of cops & prosecutors, and anyone who advocates giving the latter more power and funding than they have needs to reconsider their values

My hottest take on currency/monument issues is just stop idolizing/making monuments to individuals. Everyone is flawed and no one deserves to be revered in this way. There’s no need to have a face on currency, just put a larger number
Yes and Biden has no stomach for causing any systemic change. Perfect fit.
Yellen said she wants to make it happen. It appears that 2030 is the target date because of rules, so all it will take is for the 2024 0r 2028 president to say nah for the idea to end up on the trash pile again.

i struggle with this. not sure if it's more important to vet which individuals we build monuments to/name schools after/put on money, or develop a much more robust social safety net funded by a VAT, land value tax, or similar tax on the middle and upper tax brackets. on the one hand, a robust social safety net will give everyone the opportunity to be safe and healthy and pursue happiness regardless of the state of their local economies, while simultaneously relaxing rising political and social tensions across the country, but on the other hand cool monuments help with the vibes.
Tbh, unless it’s a quarter I typically throw it away or into a tip jar. I only pay cash if someone owes me money and gives me cash. And I scowl at them

The kid pays his rent in cash entirely in twenties and I rarely make it down to the bank so after a few months I always have a thick stack of bills making me look like a drug dealer when I finally go.
