I looked on ticketmaster and noticed there is a promo code for $159+fees tickets. Not sure how long it’s good for but code is “SNAPCHAT”.

Damn I'm going to be in Vegas for 7 days the weekend BEFORE this festival, then again for 7 days January 1-7.
If I go to Vegas for this and do 3 trips in the span of a month, I may not survive.

No buying tickets yet. If there's anything I've learned over the years, its never to pre-purchase tickets to a first year music festival. Waiting on that GROUPON 50% deal, or at least second hand for cheap in the days leading up to the festival.

Amazon has too much invested to not have this happen even its empty. This was very similar to Day for Night with the first discount they offered. So yeah, groupon and othr offers will pop up. Heres to hoping they announce the next phase to try and boost sales. but if youre on the fence, just book the room and cancel later.
