I took her to the conservatory at the bellagio where they have a big Christmas plant display every year. Unfortunately it was not fully ready yet. But there was a small area open to walk by. So I asked a stranger to take a picture of us. He did, handed it back and asked if it was okay. I said it was okay but I wanted to try a different pose. So I proposed in front of a fancy Christmas tree and we got a nice picture out of it

I was very pleased that they put groups like Weyes Blood in the Dome rather than dumping electronic acts, which was what I had expected. Turned a lot of shows that could have been average into something special and unique. “Movies” wasn’t a song of hers I paid much attention to beforehand, but it was a transcendent live experience.
Looks like AWS is planning on holding the conference in Las Vegas Nov. 29-Dec. 3. Registration open this week, so might be able to glean a few more details then.
If they do go Dec. 3-4 for the fest, it would be same weekend for CFB conference title games (Pac-12's first year in Las Vegas at the new stadium) and Washington Football Team/Raiders home game. Would be a good time.
