This is a bit more crammed than I expected, hopefully it'll be easy to split sets. I can't believe I'm probably going to skip Flying Lotus and Kaytranada at a festival but I've never seen the Foo Fighters before.
If on my I wasn’t going to Phish this weekend in Charleston. This schedule is perfect. Besides Beck conflict with Sophie no problems. Super jealous of everyone. At least I get to see Gessa in Atl next weekend

Las Vegas Festival Grounds seems like a smallish venue to cram two large stages and an Antarctic sized dome. Especially since they have mock ups on their website with an extra main stage sized tent for “Experiences” and the dome in a central courtyard area.
Maybe someone who has been to Day n Vegas or generally the grounds can comment, but it looks like it will be simple to split sets. My biggest worry is finding a dinner break for our group with that schedule. Two stacked to the brim days!

I’d definitely check out Beck if you haven’t seen him. His live sets are pretty wild and spontaneous. One of my favorite festival memories is from Life is Beautiful 2013 when he tried to play a Billie Jean cover, completely blanked on the lyrics a minute or so in, and then just said fuck it and seamlessly dropped into a completely different song without missing a beat.
Yeah Kacey was my #1 on the lineup but it also helps that I saw Gesa last week anyway.
How was Gesa? I’ve seen Kacey twice now , so I wouldn’t mind catching the last 45 of her.
It was really fun. I'm kinda snobby when it comes to electronic music but in terms of EDM style shows it's probably as good as you can get. Fwiw I was planning on seeing it again even though I just saw him, but I'm also not that upset to miss it.
It was kinda funny cause all the bros around me would lose their shit when he played the weeknd songs, and then I'd be going hard to like OPR and Hellifornia.

Glad to know it was up to par. My girl and I saw the Coachella set online really enjoyed it and got tickets for his Atlanta. We were hoping we weren’t going to leave disappointed. Also pretty picky on edm myself.
Jamie xx getting 90 minutes while Beck only gets 75 is kinda strange to me but I’ll take it.
I can guarantee you these are the set time lengths that were requested by the artist. I doubt Jamie XX would even play a gig less than 1.5hrs long.
That makes sense then. I only saw about 10 songs on his recent festival setlists I glanced over and just figured he would be a 45 minute set. Never checked out his live show. Even more reason to be excited!
Would it be a mistake to miss Beck entirely? I haven't really listened to him much.
I think you're fine skipping him. He's a good performer and digs way back into his catalog, but if you don't listen to him it's probably not worth it. I'm skipping him entirely here. I just saw him this summer with Cage the Elephant, and his performance seemed a little underwhelming right after Cage.
I know Foo always demands a long set, but I'm a little upset they only gave Paak an hour. I thought he'd have at least 75 minutes since he was also billed as a headliner.

Disclaimer: he'll almost certainly DJ, perhaps even barely playing his own songs.

So has anyone received single day tickets I reached out to intersect and they are directing me to Frontgate tickets The problem is I bought my tickets through Ticketmaster ... so I’m confused 😐
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Gesaffelstein show is good if you LOVE his music, but a bit boring if you’re more of a passive fan.
passive fan here, just saw him tonight and LOVED it. highly recommend for anyone on the fence. granted I don't care for Kacey so it'd be an easy decision anyways.
