Yeah I realized right after I posted this that we also got Avett, Lumineers, and Hozier last year. I'd still be surprised if we end up with two stadium country acts that big.

Yeah I'm still holding out hope that our big country gets are Dolly and Jason Isbell. Someone said Dolly can't do the heat, (no idea if they were full of shiz or not but let's pretend they're not) I think Lizzo 8:45-10 then Dolly 11-12:30, with Oysterhead on Which in between, would be great.

That's past Dolly's bed time at the the Grand Ole Retirement Home.

If we're going all in on "funny" acts like Lonely Island, Lil Dicky, the DJ from Clue 1, etc., let's go ahead and book Village People for a tent set. Heard they were pretty fun at Riot Fest this year
With them being #1, would they be top 6 at Bonnaroo?
They were 6th back in 2006. I could possibly see them in the same placement on the poster. Maybe slightly lower. The new kids going to Roo definitely have no idea who they are.

in all seriousness this is an excellent jamband festival lineup. all the second generation jambands, pretty much all the notable new generation jambands, oysterhead, something with oteil, that turkuaz talking heads thing, and a band called "magic beans" which seems cool. feels like all we are missing is somebody from the meters.

Magic Beans actually have a bit of a following for a relatively new band. I'm not very familiar with their music or sound but I'm expecting them to become a regular name in the jam scene.

They're pretty good but I have a tough time differentiating them and the bands like them. They sound like a less goofy pigeons to me.

Why aren't we talking about Freddie & Madlib back:
Ive lost hope in the hiphop direction at Roo or else id continue posting more about Gibbs, RTJ, Danny Brown, Pusha T, De La, etc.
Everyone you just mentioned has played in the past and I wish they’d all come back. Danny Browns new album is awesome btw. And RTJ have a new one dropping early next year. 🤞🏻
