The Neighbourhood, Mickey Hart performing a set only composed of "Space", Waka Flocka Flame, Fun., Fetty Wap (x2), FKA Twigs, and Eddie Vedder (Hologram).
True story, I think I’d go see Fun. over “space”
I don’t think Fun. is happening but I’d take Bleachers in a heartbeat
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
no southern dates aside from charleston April 18, then no dates up to a festival in the UK on June 19. I wouldn't say these dates make them unlikely, but they also don't make them likely.
Wilco is one of those acts I don't think we'll ever get. Same w Modest Mouse and Beck.
they came out of that whole emo alt-country thing in the 90s, does any of that appeal to you? if that doesn't click i can understand how wilco wouldn't.

King, my wife HATED them back in 2013. Every time we see something with them on it she just goes ugh. During ACL she saw a video of them playing and was like I guess I should give them another try.

to clarify I meant I don’t think Bonnaroo is interested in booking those kinds of bands considering how high they’d be billed. I like all three of them.

Double reply but fuck it, I'd say odelay is where people would normally direct someone to start listening but I would actually say to start with Guero.

Given the sort of big summery Alt-Nation style vibe of his last album (and assumedly this upcoming album also), I actually think Beck makes a lot more sense for this than he would have a couple years back. Colors isn't really my favorite thing he's put out (although Wow is a total jam), but it definitely sounds like he's pitching it straight down the middle for festivals.
Mixed Bizness is my favorite album of his, for what it's worth

Doobie Brothers would've been a cool legacy act, but playing Nashville June 17th. have to imagine there were discussions there at least for them to be so close.

Wilco has played Bonnaroo 4 times. 2004, 2007, 2009 and 2013. I think they’re due back. And I would welcome them.
tweedy has just gotten clean in 2004 and i don't think he was on a pink cloud. at the set i remember he asked the crowd "is anyone out there high right now" and everyone cheered, to which he said "i'm not". i felt his pain a year later when i get clean lol.
