King Gizzard are posting about upcoming "Marathon Sets", billed as 3 hours, spanning all 15 albums. Greek Theatre on April 18th and Red Rocks on May 6th. That would be pretty tight at Roo LN!

would any festival book a three hour marathon set for any band? i'm an extremely casual king gizz fan but would 100% attend such a set.

I wonder if we’re going to continue to see longer sets this year. Last year JRAD got 2 hours and 15 mins. I think if Bonnaroo really wants to hone in on that “what makes Bonnaroo different” thing. That longer sets is part of the answer. I don’t expect it, but it’s pretty cool to see GIZZ advertising these long sets a month before ROO and it makes me wonder if they’ll give them a longer set because of it. Even 2 hours would be a blessing.
Been playing so much of Caroline Polachek’s new album Pang, my god I didn’t think I’d get addicted to this but I think I am now.
Wow I didn't know she had put out solo work other than CEB and Ramona Lisa until you posted this. This album is fantastic. Thank you. I really hope she's at Roo. I miss Chairlift
yeah no problem, I posted it here because I wanted everyone to know and to take a listen. This album is so addicting, I think I’ve grown to love every song on it too. Door has been stuck in my head everyday since I heard it, same with Ocean of Tears. and Too Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings is a straight bop. I really hope she’s at Roo too and I miss Chairlift as well /:

Jenny Lewis opening on the Harry Styles tour in Nash 7/28-is that too close for her to play Roo? I assume Harry is out cause of the high billing he'd require and the fact that he probably isn't in the booking strat anyway, but was hoping she would be there on the indie undercard.

System of a Down are better and more interesting than Rage Against the Machine and I would love to see them at Roo even if they are perennial wishlisters.

Rage are good, too. They can both come.
Also let's get Volta on this shit.
SoaD are playing a festival in the UK the same weekend as Roo :/

The Neighbourhood, Mickey Hart performing a set only composed of "Space", Waka Flocka Flame, Fun., Fetty Wap (x2), FKA Twigs, and Eddie Vedder (Hologram).

True story, I think I’d go see Fun. over “space”
I'm a pretty big deadhead and I think that is a no-brainer
