I caught a bit of Drake at ACL 2015, and ended up leaving and meeting a friend at pub trivia night elsewhere in town. He spent the first 5 minutes talking, was mediocre when he actually started performing, and the crowd's shrill shrieks sounded like they were 12-year-olds at a Justin Bieber show.
They could have two hip hop headliners, it's routinely their biggest crowds.
OutKast/Em Drake/Weeknd (close) Jay/Chance Gambino/Scott Gambino/Cardi (w lizzo having a monster crowd)
I know you're talking about two in the same weekend, but that Kendrick crowd in 2016 was pretty big too. I could see them doing Drake and Kendrick in the same year.
Editting to say I wouldn't see Drake but would love to see Kendrick again in any setting.

yeah the next highest that year was SchQ in the teens which was surprising

Yeah, I don't know if there wasn't a lot of big rappers touring fests that year, if they were trying to build around Radiohead and LCD, or if they just figured Kendrick would draw a crowd regardless on TPAB and Untitled Unmastered. That's the same year Roo infamously trotted out Pearl Jam, Dead & Co., LCD, and J Cole to 15 people.

The late runs on Saturday and Sunday are pretty damn good! Unfortunate that they aren't full set times. Maybe the last shows of the day are, but doubt it.

Yeah, seems like the longest sets are around 1 hour...

only got home last night in time to catch Ricky Williams opening for the Billie Eilish (full) set my wife and I were at last year, so it was fun to relive that. I wished they replayed all the other sets throughout the night, but oh well ACL.
Off today, so looking forward to a lot of the acts they're streaming tonight. does suck they're shortened, we get what we can get.
Lol I'm pretty sure all they did to shorten billies set is cut her rant about someone stealing her ring that later was determined it came off and they got it back
Watching college football today made me think of the beer tent with all the games on. Catching a glimpse of a game in between sets with a delish brew is a treat for sure
Couple St. Vincent songs there. Good show. Both times I’ve seen her have been in Texas. That was a good day despite the disaster that was the sound production that screwed up half the Deftones set. Both of them, Metallica, The Wombats, Chvrches and Marian Hill. My day to drive :/
