But I'm thinking it's Eric Church, who was ranked #11 on ACL 2013, and was apparently supposed to headline Stagecoach in 2020. I can see him being #6 headliner on 2021 lineup.
If it's Luke Combs - And hell yeah Stevie Nicks! - my high expectations bingo card(s) off to a great start!!
church is a sneaky one, wasn't he a top line lolla once? or was that Luke bryan
Maybe it’s just semantics, but I feel there’s a difference between a country headliner and a ‘big’ country headliner.
I dont know if people on this board have any proper feeling for who a big country headliner would even be. like are Chesney or Twain still big? no clue

chesney still plays stadiums and those shows sell really well. his album last year was also really popular. i’d be down with chesney but considering ACL isn’t held on a beach, i don’t think he’s all that likely.

Would The Strokes play both weekends? They only played one weekend in 2015, and they strike me as an act who wouldn't want to just hang around or come back in a week.
And didn't Megan no-show on weekend 2 in 2019? I suppose money talks over hard feelings, though.

if the weeknd threw a hissy fit over not being #1 at lolla then came back the next year and was #1, i'm sure C3 won't mind trying to book Megan again.
I wouldn't mind Carrie, she does have that appeal even if her music has never really been my favorite. I only want her so I can hear Zilker burn down when Before He Cheats starts.
I never really know the general opinion of them wherever I go but fuck it, I'll just throw it out there. Twenty One Pilots are allegedly dropping a new song tomorrow and have a new album out on May 21. Should we throw them in possible or should we argue about whether they're good or not for all of tomorrow. (p.s. i think they're great)
a NIN vs. TOP conflict would look rough for me at first glance but i'd go NIN easily. it seems like they're touring less and less and i will not pass up any chance to see them. TOP are gonna be around for a very long while and for a band their size, it's not too expensive to see them either.

Oh I was just referring to Strait/Brooks/Parton. Twenty One Pilots aren't a vibe for me. But even so I imagine I'll see them at some point just cuz.
NIN have been one of my faves since I was 12. Wish I had gone to their two Irving shows with J&MC and Daniel Avery. Seen a handful of other times. I think they're actually pretty into doing shows and multi-night runs. They're basically Phish now. It won't last forever but we'll have opportunities in the next couple years.
as much as i would love eric, i just don’t see that happening unless he’s a W2 exclusive. he’s in Canada for Friday and Saturday of W1 so unless he absolutely can’t miss ACL, i don’t see him playing.
He has both Sundays open, with that headliner money, he could swing a fast jet to Austin. But definitely difficult logistically.
Funny after guessing him and he drops these tour dates soon afterwards to negate it. Keeps the hope alive for a real "big" headliner. Dolly or George, come thru
