idk C3 just dropped another lineup today. I don't see why they wouldn't just announce ACL now, especially since the Lolla situation could be pretty prolonged.

These festivals will all happen in Sept-Dec so they need to hurry up and not be last after people have already made other plans and spent their festival money

The UFC has a B list fight in a couple of weeks that sold out the Rockets' arena at full capacity and secondary prices are 1.5-2x. This festival will sell out when they announce the lineup no matter what.
Can't ACL sell out with mostly locals- people that live in Texas? I don't think they need to be in that much of a hurry to announce

Banning young or expecting moms from your shows is a PR issue. Ditto anyone with auto-immune issues/heart/lung issues. Plus bad PR when it comes out that vaccine passport rules didn't apply to artists/VIP. And please answer with something other than "it's only for 2021" or "they have to sit out this year".
I hope fans vote with their wallets and when promoters/artist have 20-25% skimmed off the top by pro-choice vaccinators then they push city officials drop it.

Some here are pushing for 100% vaccine passport. Sever allergy/immune compromised/early moms doing a test more than once a month is a very tall ask.
Anything below 1,000 cap national tours, will just end up like that NYC punk show.
It would be kinda funny if severe allergy/immune compromised/early moms were going to a ton of concerts and festivals every month in the midst of a global pandemic and were also anti-vax

The very few events that have used vaccine passports so far have also allowed for negative tests. A lot of people have had to get tested pretty regularly for their job over the last year so I don't think its too crazy of an ask to require an unvaccinated person to get a negative test to attend a concert.
It’s kind of funny to hear about punk/metal clubs being the outliner yet all the club owners of said establishments in south Texas I know (Mohawk, Paper Tiger, Hotel Vegas, and more) have taken the pandemic very serious and still require masks. But hey, point out those places in particular for sure.
