really think they just super need a woman in the top 3 and they might stretch someone there after having so many possible 2021 women headliners on the 2019 acl lineup.
they've not ever had a woman in the top 3 on the full poster, closest was 2015 florence who was 4th behind strokes w both being a weekend exclusive
w so many festivals seemingly really trying to hit that mark I feel like another year of it, especially if they get mega old white dude George or Garth, is a bad look
Is there a reason that no one is putting Lizzo in their mocks?
I just don't think they'd bring her back to do mostly the same set and possibly w a smaller crowd (against another HLer caliber act, w some of the luster of it being new gone)

Live Nation is going to spread out announcements for festivals they have a stake in. With Gov Ball dropping tomorrow, Lolla would probably be next assuming it's actually happening. So maybe two or three weeks out for ACL?
I guess I'd want Future Islands, Freddie, Phoebe, Big Thief, Carly Rae, Jamie XX and Princess Nokia though I'd also prefer they just play their own shows in Austin. Megan would be fun too and at this point I probably wouldn't pay to go see her at her own show.
Nine Inch Nails announced their "only NIN headline shows of 2021" in Cleveland on September 21+23. Seems odd they'd do just two shows, so maybe they're jumping over to a festival a week later?
