I do think it's interesting they rebooked Billie after R asked why we were leaving Lizzo off mocks, but c3 gets Lana, Billie, Lizzo all as exclusives (per each of their fests not in general) this year? considering roo/ACL/Lolla all "compete" it makes a lot of sense to have them split up and have meg/Miley do all 3
I think the logistics of doing Bottlerock and Roo the same weekend didn't work. Or Bottlerock gave her a bigger offer haha
Already a good bit of overlap between the big names on Bottlerock and Roo (Foos, Meg, RTJ, Harlow, G-Eazy, YtG). Maybe they didn't want it to be too similar. Most of those are rappers though, and the only one on Saturday is G-Eazy. Others are Friday or Sunday on Roo.

Well Foo Fighters didnt care about doing both so who knows what Miley's issue was. Bottlerock is releasing their daily line up on Monday so she likely ends up second on her day just like she wouldve at Roo.

something that sticks out compared to previous, v little Spainish speakers on the lineup. obviously they missed on bunny, but no balvin. suprised theres not a maluma or something. not even an omar rodriguez lopez project.
just after having lafourcade, laferte, residente, rosalia, kali, cardi, recently, the ones i saw with huge crowds, it just feels like they left out a demo
but looks like two 20 yr old white dudes w 10mil monthly and a song with 650 mil plays (wow!), all the others in the top 5 are also heavily spun
They’re from College Station if i remember correctly. I had some aggie friends that saw them at a bar there with like, 100 other people when they were first starting and they said they had a blast.

I’m right there with you on most of this. The lineup is ACL’s weakest overall but it still has some bucket listers, and a fun weekend in Austin can definitely be had.
George is a huge get. Def #1 on my must sees. Stevie, Lane 8, Miley, MM, Chris Lake, Phoebe, Badu are my other musts. Surprised at the Lake hate - you just not a fan? He’s one of my favorite DJs/producers.
